In the environment of dynamic economy, employees’wisdom has become a crucial source for enterprise to progress. It’s important to utilize employees’wisdom and encourage them to take the initiative to participate in the management. As a way of making suggestions, voice behavior can improve the quality of products and efficiency. Voice behavior is an extra-role behavior that employees take the initiative to put forward ideas and suggestions. However, we find that voice behavior is rare in reality. Many managers try to pay more attention on the employees’voice behavior.The relationship between supervisor and subordinate is an important factor which can impact on voice behavior. This study selects leader-member exchange as an antecedent variable and explores the relationship between leader-member exchange and voice behavior. Previous studies have focused that supervisor affected employees’ behavior directly. They thought it was a direct causal result and less concerned about the internal mechanism. This study selects psychological ownership and psychological safety as mediating variables, and uses empirical analysis method to test the relationship between leader-member exchange and voice behavior. According to the analysis on plenty of formers theories, we identifies affect, loyalty, contribution and professional respect for leader-member exchange. And Voice behavior includes promotive voice behavior and prohibitive voice behavior.In this paper, empirical analysis method is used to test the proposed theoretical model and hypotheses. The results show that:As four dimensions of leader-member exchange, affect, loyalty, contribution and professional respect have significant effect on psychological ownership, promotive voice behavior and prohibitive voice behavior. Affect, loyalty, contribution can forecast psychological safety, but professional respect can’t. Moreover we found that psychological ownership and psychological safety plays a mediator role between leader-member exchange and voice behavior. Then we suppose that leader-member exchange can affect voice behavior by psychological ownership and psychological safety.At last, we discuss the results of the study and explain the reasons. Based on the findings in this article, we put forward some suggestions for how to promote employees’voice behavior. Finally, the directions for future research are discussed.
