Forty years after reform and opening up,China’s social economy has achieved tremendous development and the total GDP has been ranked second in the world.The wealth and income of residents have increased substantially,and consumer demand is more personalized,diversified and high-quality.Moreover,the acceleration of the reform of the financial system,the implementation of the deposit insurance regulations,the marketization of interest rate,the financial opening,and the establishment of the CIRC and CBRC have all made market competition more incentive and supervision more stringent.Additionally,financial technology is developing rapidly and finance is speedily emerging.Facing the violent impact from all sides in the new situation,the development of state-owned bank sub-branches appeared the temporary difficulties.Sub-branches are the most basic units of the bank,which serve the customer directly,and is the important channel in product selling.The large number and wide distribution of the sub-branches of state-owned commercial Banks are not only the strategic resources of them,but also their brand,credit,strength and competitiveness.Faced the challenges of the new situation,state-owned commercial banks should actively transform and improve the efficiency of sub-branches to consolidate traditional advantages,as well as discovering the potential of innovation.By combing the relevant theoretical research and practice at home or abroad about the transformation of state-owned bank sub-branches,this paper combines the economic development of Hangzhou area to analyze the transformation of CD sub-branches in Hangzhou.It deeply considers the impact of changes in the new era on banking services and products,and enhances the efficiency of outlets and promotes employee growth as the goal of network transformation.It also studies the use of business specialization,equipment intelligence,operational digitalization,and collaborativespecial force formation,to improve the program layout,professional development,intelligent upgrade,and improve the support system.Moreover,it proposes safeguard measures from performance appraisal,risk internal control,etc.Based the research above,this paper proposes that state-owned banks have excellent reputation,huge data stocks and rich experience in supervision.Combining the incomparable depth of service inherent in sub-branches compared to others,it can improve sun-branches through professionalization,improve the efficiency by intelligently,provide targeted guidance by digitally and enhance cohesiveness and execution by synergistic special force.Moreover,it also can improve performance appraisal to ensure the common development of employees and banks,strengthen credit asset management to ensure safe and stable operation,and attach importance to the control of operating costs to ensure the profitability of sub-branches.The transformation of state-owned bank sub-branches will significantly improve the efficiency of outlets,to meet the increasing demand for products and services of customers,cope with increasingly fierce market competition,and meet increasingly stringent regulatory requirements.In the future,the sub-branches will still be an important channel for state-owned banks to develop business and train talent.
