The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that high-quality development is the primary task of comprehensively building a socialist country.Building a smooth circulation system,reducing logistics costs,and deeply implementing the new urbanization strategy are important measures to promote high-quality development.The strategy of new urbanization and high-quality logistics development are both inherent in the theme of high-quality development,and are key development directions for improving the well-being of the people and enhancing the endogenous power of the economy.In view of this,promoting the coordinated progress of regional new urbanization construction and high-quality logistics development is particularly important in the context of the new era.This article first sorts out the literature on the connotation of new urbanization and high-quality logistics development,as well as the impact of urbanization on the logistics industry,and determines the coupling mechanism between the two systems;Secondly,based on the entropy method to measure the high-quality development level of new urbanization and logistics,the overall and regional evaluation and analysis of the two systems were conducted respectively.On the basis of the entropy method,the coupling coordination degree model was used to measure the coordination degree of the two systems.The overall characteristics,regional relative differences,and dynamic evolution of the coupling coordination degree were evaluated and analyzed using methods such as Dagum Gini coefficient method and Kernel density estimation method;Then,examine the spatial correlation between the coupling coordination degree of new urbanization and high-quality logistics development,explore the factors that affect the coupling coordination level,analyze the spatial spillover effect,and finally propose targeted recommendations based on the analysis of influencing factors.The research results of this article are as follows:(1)The overall characteristics and regional differences in the high-quality development level of new urbanization and logistics are shown as follows: During the sample period,the national high-quality development level of new urbanization and logistics has significantly improved.The development level of the two major systems in the eastern region is higher than that in the central and western regions,but the development rate is lower than that in the central and western regions.In terms of new urbanization construction,the economy,space,lifestyle Compared with the central and western regions,the level of innovative research and development subsystems has advantages in terms of high-quality logistics development,and the eastern regions have advantages in terms of operation scale and resource consumption subsystems.(2)The overall characteristics of coupling coordination degree are as follows: the overall level of coupling coordination degree increases,the number of provinces with recession and maladjustment decreases,and the number of provinces in the primary and intermediate coordination areas gradually increases;Its spatial distribution presents a gradient decreasing state from east to west,with relatively obvious spatial convergence effect and spatial diffusion effect.(3)The regional relative and absolute differences of the coupling coordination degree are shown as follows: the Gini coefficient and nuclear density map of the coupling coordination degree show that the relative and absolute differences in the central region have significantly expanded,while the trend of the overall and eastern regional differences in the country has been slightly slow,while the relative and absolute differences in the western region have not significantly changed;The relative differences between the East West and East Central regions are large but tend to decrease.The source of regional relative differences is also mainly inter regional differences,with a difference contribution rate of around 70%.(4)The spatial correlation analysis results of the coupling coordination degree show that there is a long-term stable spatial positive correlation between the level of inter provincial coupling coordination during the sample period.The coupling coordination degree in eastern provinces mostly presents high level and high level aggregation,while in western provinces,on the contrary,it mostly presents low level and low level aggregation.(5)The results of the factors influencing the degree of coupling coordination show that the regression results of the spatiotemporal two-way fixed spatial Durbin model show that the level of education development and the level of transportation infrastructure have significant positive direct effects;Logistics capital investment and economic development level have significant positive spillover effects on the coupling and coordination level of neighboring regions,while logistics personnel specialization level has significant negative spillover effects.Finally,based on the state of high-quality development of new urbanization and logistics,and relying on major regional development strategies,optimization suggestions are given to improve the coordination of the two systems in three aspects: increasing human capital investment,improving logistics informatization level,and improving transportation infrastructure construction,to provide support for promoting high-quality economic and social development.
