Research On The Interactive Relationship Of Industrial Structure Adjustment And Scientific And Technological Innovation

At present,China's economic development has entered a new normal.Scientific and technological innovation is an important driving force for economic growth.The industrial structure,as the most important economic structure,supports the development of scientific and technological innovation.Aiming at the problems of research on the interaction between industrial structure adjustment and scientific and technological innovation,this article compares and analyzes the development status of industrial structure adjustment and scientific and technological innovation between China and the United States,grasps the development context of industrial structural adjustment and technological innovation from a macro perspective,and clarifies the advantages and disadvantages of the United States in the interactive process of industrial restructuring and technological innovation,which are of great significance to the rationalization and advanced development of China's industrial structure and the enhancement of the core competitiveness of scientific and technological innovation.Based on the relevant domestic and foreign theoretical literature,this article clarifies the interaction of industrial structure adjustment and scientific and technological innovation,establishes an index system of industrial structural adjustment and scientific and technological innovation,takes China and the United States as the research object,and uses Chinese and American indicators data from1990 to 2018.This article uses benchmarking analysis and equal weight processing to obtain the original time series of rationalization of industrial structure,advanced industrial structure,input of scientific and technological innovation,output of scientific and technological innovation,and environmental indicators of scientific and technological innovation.Before establishing a vector autoregressive model(VAR model),this article performs a stationary test and Johansen cointegration test on the time series firstly.After the VAR model is established,granger causality test is performed,and the interactive relationship between industrial structure adjustmentand scientific and technological innovation in China and the United States is quantitatively analyzed by impulse response function and variance decomposition.The research shows that:(1)Increasing investment in scientific and technological innovation and increasing the output of scientific and technological innovation can significantly promote the rationalization of industrial structure and the advanced development of industrial structure.(2)The experience of the United States shows that the scientific and technological innovation environment can promote the development of the industrial structure,while the scientific and technological innovation environment in China is not enough to support its positive impact on the upgrading of the industrial structure.(3)Advanced industrial structure can effectively promote scientific and technological innovation,the country should attach importance to the development of the tertiary industry,and provide a good platform and environment for scientific and technological innovation.(4)Emphasizing the role of industrial structure rationalization in the process of industrial structure adjustment.Industrial structure rationalization is the basis for achieving economic growth.Finally,based on the comparison results of the interactive relationship between industrial structure adjustment and scientific and technological innovation in China and the United States,and drawing on the development experience of industrial structure adjustment and scientific and technological innovation in the United States,this article proposes suggestions for the interactive development of China's industrial structure adjustment and technological innovation from three aspects: improving the efficiency of the interaction between industrial structure adjustment and scientific and technological innovation,improving the institutional mechanism of industrial structure adjustment and technological innovation interaction,and optimizing the interaction between industrial structure adjustment and technological innovation.
