A Study On Public Participation In Regulation Of Rural Food Safety

"The people take food as the sky,food takes comfort as the first".Food safety is an important issue related to the national economy and the people's livelihood,and it is also an important issue concerned by the world.In the current environment of deepening reform and building a harmonious society in China,food safety is related to the health of the people,it is the key to national prosperity and national development.At present.In urban areas,food safety has achieved certain results because of the government supervision.However,in some rural areas,due to uneven development and limited supervision,food safety problems can not be effectively controlled.As a big agricultural country,China's rural economic development is the basis for achieving a harmonious society,rural Food Safety is related to social stability and development.Therefore,strengthening food safety supervision in rural areas is an urgent problem to be solved by governments at all levels.As a brand-new social governance model,public participation focuses on public self-service,which helps to mobilize all social forces to form a strong joint force of multi-subject participation.It has become an important program for many countries to overcome the failure of food safety supervision.Based on the sample survey and analysis of the five township areas in R county,from the perspective of public participation,in rural areas in China in an all-round way,and by analyzing the main problems and existing hazards,to find out the reasons for the lack of public participation in rural food safety supervision,which mainly include:the restriction of the traditional mechanism system,the existence of the thought of official standard,the failure of public participation channels,etc.,in view of these problems,the following suggestions are put forward:to raise the awareness of public participation in rural areas,to broaden the channels for public participation,to improve the mechanism of public participation in rural food safety supervision,to improve the participation system,to form a public supervision force,etc..Through this study,we hope to provide some references for other rural areas,promote the improvement of food safety mechanism,and contribute to the building of a harmonious society.
