The Research On Supplier Management Optimization Of Pencil And Hammer Company,Thailand

Pencil and hammer is an interior design and construction company that help customers to design and renovate their place.The company is a new established company that have many room for improvement for supply chain management.This paper will study the company by analysing the company current situation and adapt the knowledge of supply chain management especially in supplier management to improve the company to become more efficiency and professional in the market.The study will also give the result of evaluation,suggestion and plan for the company to be implement.As a result of the improvement,company will become more competitive by have a better working process,become more efficient in supply chain,create partnership with suppliers,and improve the supplier performance in term of cost,quality,delivery,and product capability.After analysing the company,we found problem of untimely arrival of goods suppled by supplier,quality data distortion,unreasonable supply price and low score supplier performance.Then we apply the knowledge of supplier management optimization and cost driver analysis to find the suitable solutions for the company to implement: optimize company work flow,evaluate supplier performance,develop supplier management and supplier selection,and create long term partnership with them.The research shows that by using several theory and implementation in a new company like Pencil and Hammer company can create a lot of good impact to the company.It shows that company will have better working standard,good communication within company and between company and supplier,a lot of saving,and the most important thing the lean of company process and all supply chain.It will make the company much more competitive to the market and create a lot of opportunities to growth in future.
