With the social progress and rapid economic development, the problem of urban-rural income gap has always been a constant topic in China's economics. At the same time, the change of industrial structure is an inevitable process and trend of economic development in a country and a region. Is the change in income gap affected by changes in the industrial structure and what is the mechanism of such influence? In-depth exploration of this influence mechanism is of positive reference significance for the formulation of reasonable regional industrial policies. This paper uses the industrial structure of 30 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions in China(not taking Tibet into account because its data is incomplete)to advance the industrial structure and industry.Structural rationalization, economic development level, urbanization level, foreign investment level, opening degree, financial deepening level, and urban-rural income gap and other relevant data, using OLS and fixed-effect panel models to analyze advanced industrial structure, rationalized industrial structure, and economic development level, respectively The impact of urbanization level, foreign investment level, openness, and financial deepening level on China's urban-rural income gap,and on the basis of its research, from the eastern, central and western regions to further study it.Through the current situation and theoretical analysis and empirical research, this paper draws the following conclusions:1.From the perspective of core variables, the urban-rural income gap is affected by the rationalization of the advanced industrial structure;the industrial structure of China, eastern, central, and western regions has a positive correlation with the urban-rural income gap;China, eastern, central, and western regions The urban-rural income gap is reversed by the rationalization of the industrial structure.2.From the perspective of other control variables, the urban-rural income gap is affected by the level of economic development, urbanization, foreign investment, openness, and financial deepening. The reverse effect of urbanization and economic development level;the financial deepening level of China and the western region is negatively correlated with the urban-rural income gap,and the urban-rural income gap and financial deepening level of the eastern and central regions have a positive effect;China, central and western regions The urban-rural income gap has a reverse effect on opening up to the outside world, but the opposite is true in the eastern region.Empirical evidence on the level of foreign investment in China, eastern and western regions shows a positive correlation between urban and rural income gap.Based on the research results and combined with the current situation in China, the following suggestions are made: promote the development of the modernization of the primary industry, adopt subsidy policies for agricultural products, and promote agricultural modernization, which can improve the efficiency of agricultural production and bring greater returns to the primary industry;Rationalize and upgrade the advanced industrial structure, support the development of new industries and service industries, and shift the tertiary and secondary industries to the countryside, creating and providing more for the countrysideEmployment opportunities;promote economic growth and urbanization, encourage economically developed cities to radiate to neighboring cities;encourage and support FDI to agricultural development, bring funds to the agricultural sector, and avoid insufficient funding for the agricultural sector;encourage central and western regions to increase Open to the outside world;balance the level of urban and rural financial deepening, promote financial prosperity, and formulate more favorable financial deposit policies for farmers;thus practically and practically narrow the gap between urban and rural incomes in China.
