An Empirical Study On The Impact Of Industrial Structure Upgrading On Urban-rural Income Gap In Inner Mongolia

Agriculture has always been the lifeblood of China's national economy.In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China,the promotion of modern industrialization led to dual economic structure of urban and rural.Following the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the CCP Central Committee to focus on the problem of income gap between urban and rural areas," the 13 th Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development of the People's Republic of China " explicitly proposed that: Adhere to income growth and economic growth synchronized development,improve labor remuneration and labor productivity should be simultaneous,continue to increase the income of urban and rural residents.At the same time,with China's urbanization process continues to promote economic development shows a "new normal",in the new round of technological revolution and the industrial revolution,the industrial structure accelerates towards medium-high rate,and the adjustment and upgrade of industrial structure is facing new opportunities and become an important factor that influence the urban-rural income gap.Therefore,it is urgent to grasp the opportunity,adjust the industrial structure,promote the upgrading of industrial structure to solve the urban-rural income gap.The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is a developed frontier minority area in our country.Urban and rural,regional,economic and social development is not coordinated,the income level of urban and rural residents is lower than the national average level.Under the new normal in China's economic development,new contradictions and new problems has become increasingly noticeable,to realize the rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure,Inner Mongolia is facing a opportunity to build a new engine of economic growth,and the great challenge of narrowing the gap with the national development.Narrowing of the urban-rural income gap is an important issue to consider economic development in this region.From the perspective of industrial structure,this paper studies the influence of industrial structure on the urban-rural income gap in Inner Mongolia by the time series and panel data.First of all,starting from the background and significance of the topic areas before combing,the relevant research results,thoroughly analysis the mechanism of industrial structure adjustment and upgrading of the urban-rural income gap,which lays the foundation for the research.Secondly,According to the Inner Mongolia Statistical Yearbook,a comprehensive analysis of the current situation of Inner Mongolia's industrial structure and the urban-rural income gap,analyzing the evolution of industrial structure and the problems.To analyze the urban-rural income gap in the time of 1981-2015,regularity and evolution path of change analysis presented,and compared with the national average level.Found that the industrial structure of Inner Mongolia is the "second-third-the first " pattern,consideration should be given to the development of primary industry development in the second and three industries at the same time,to ensure the rational internal industrial structure.At the same time,it is found that the urban-rural income gap in Inner Mongolia presents an overall growth trend,which is lower than the national average.Select the variable on the basis of theoretical study,the relationship between the industrial structure and the urban-rural income gap through time series to establish the vector auto regression(VAR)model,and to establish a panel model of the Prefectural-Level city in Inner Mongolia in the period of 2006-2015 to comprehensive analysis of the existing problems.There is a long-term stable equilibrium relationship between the Inner Mongolia industrial structure and the urban-rural income gap,and The rationalization of industrial structure plays an important role in narrowing the urban-rural income gap in Inner Mongolia,while the high level of industrial structure has an effect on the urban-rural income gap.Finally,combined with the specific circumstances of the development of Inner Mongolia,from the balance of the industrial structure,promote the rationalization of industrial structure and upgrading perspective,proposes to narrow the urban-rural income gap in Inner Mongolia,countermeasures to improve the income of rural residents.
