Study On The Impact Of Industrial Structure Optimization On The Income Gap Between Urban And Rural Residents In Guangxi

Since the reform and opening up,Guangxi's economy has developed rapidly.In 2018,Guangxi's GDP reached 2035.251 billion yuan,268 times that of 1978's 758.5 billion yuan.At the same time,due to the impact of urban-rural dual economic structure,the urban-rural economic development is not coordinated,and the income gap between urban and rural residents is large,which hinders the healthy development of Guangxi's economy and the realization of the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way.It is very important to narrow the income gap between urban and rural residents.Industrial structure is an important factor affecting the income gap between urban and rural residents.The optimization of industrial structure refers to the process of realizing the coordinated development of various industries and the continuous improvement of the overall level of industry through industrial adjustment.Its purpose is to rationalize and upgrade the industrial structure.The impact of industrial structure optimization on the income gap between urban and rural residents is closely related to research areas and research methods.Guangxi is the only coastal minority area in China.It faces different characteristics from other areas in narrowing the income gap between urban and rural residents.In view of the impact of industrial structure optimization on the income gap between urban and rural residents in Guangxi,the industrial structure of Guangxi can be analyzed in the future.To narrow the income gap between urban and rural residents in the adjustment provides some reference value.This paper focuses on the theme of the impact of industrial structure optimization on the income gap between urban and rural residents in Guangxi.On the basis of sorting out the mechanism of industrial structure optimization affecting the income gap between urban and rural residents in Guangxi,firstly,it analyses and explains the current situation of industrial structure optimization and income gap between urban and rural residents in Guangxi;secondly,it chooses the industrial structure combination that reflects the optimization of industrial structure.Physicaland chemical indicators and industrial structure advanced indicators,as well as urban-rural residents' income ratio indicators reflecting the income gap between urban and rural residents,establish a vector autoregressive model to quantitatively analyze the impact of industrial structure optimization on the income gap between urban and rural residents;finally,from the perspective of industrial structure optimization,put forward policy recommendations to narrow the income gap between urban and rural residents in Guangxi.The introduction part mainly introduces the background,significance,research status at home and abroad,as well as the innovation and shortcomings of the paper.The first part defines the concepts of industrial structure optimization and income gap between urban and rural residents,then combs the relevant theories of industrial structure optimization and income gap between urban and rural residents,and analyses the mechanism of industrial structure optimization affecting income gap between urban and rural residents.The second part introduces the current situation of industrial structure optimization and income gap between urban and rural residents in Guangxi.Firstly,it analyses the current situation of industrial structure optimization from three aspects: the process of industrial structure optimization,the deviation degree of industrial structure and the upgrading of industrial structure.It is concluded that since the reform and opening up,the industrial structure of Guangxi has changed from "123" to "321",and the industrial structure has been continuously optimized.The deviation degree of industrial structure of primary industry is negative,which indicates that there is a large number of surplus labor force.Secondly,the deviation degree of the industrial structure of the tertiary industry is positive,which shows that it also has the ability to absorb labor force.In order to narrow the income gap between urban and rural residents,we should guide the surplus labor force of the primary industry to transfer to the secondary and tertiary industries.Secondly,it analyses the current situation of the income gap between urban and rural residents in Guangxi from the vertical and horizontal levels,and concludes that although the income gap between urban and rural residents in Guangxi has been alleviated to some extent,there is still a big gap compared with other regions in the country,and there is a big difference in the income gap between urban and rural residents in different cities of Guangxi.The third part makes an empirical analysis on the impact of industrial structure optimization on urban-rural income gap in Guangxi.Eviews software and VAR model were used to analyze the data by means of Granger causality test and impulse response function.The empirical results show that the rationalization of industrial structure will widen the income gap between urban and rural areas in the short run,but in the long run,the rationalization of industrial structure will help narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas;in the short run,the change of output value of non-agricultural industry in the industrial structure upgrading will have less impact onthe income gap between urban and rural residents;in the long run,the expansion of output value of non-agricultural industry in the industrial structure upgrading will reduce the income gap between urban and rural areas Gap.The fourth part puts forward policy suggestions to narrow the income gap between urban and rural residents in Guangxi.It is pointed out that the optimization of industrial structure should be promoted through optimizing the allocation of resources,promoting technological innovation,accelerating the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and accelerating the reform of urban-rural dual system,so as to increase the income of rural residents and narrow the income gap between urban and rural residents.
