| China implements the strategic development of innovation-driven development and building an innovation-oriented country in the context of global economic integration.Endogenous growth theory deems that those innovations boost productivity which is the internal power that drives economic growth.Regional innovation ecosystem is a strategic option that China has identified building an innovate country as a national development option that China has identified building an innovate country as a national development strategy.Consequently,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the relationship between regional innovation ecosystem suitability degree and regional innovation performance.Based on this,this paper focuses on the three aspects of literature review,theoretical model construction and data analysis.Firstly,reviewing and analyzing the relevant theories of regional innovation ecosystem,niche,regional innovation performance,capital cooperation and economic openness.And Studying the development of innovation ecosystem from the perspectives of micro,meso and macro,and analyzing different variables.Secondly,based on literature research,construct the theoretical model of this paper,analyze the relationship between variables,and put forward 11 hypotheses: regional ecosystem suitability and its basic elements(innovation subject,innovation resources,innovation environment)have a significant positive impact on two dimensions of regional innovation performance(technical production out and economic benefits),and the degree of financial cooperation and economic openness have a significant positive adjustment effect.Finally,this paper collects and processes data from yearbooks and reports in 30 regions of China from 2008 to 2016,uses panel regression models to verify hypotheses,and tests the results for robustness.Due to the lack of data on multiple indicators in Tibet,considering the integrity of the data,Tibet was removed and only analyzed the remaining 30 regions.The results are as follows: There is a positive promotion effect about regional innovation ecosystem suitability on regional innovation performance and its included technological output and economic benefit dimensions.Innovation subjects,innovation resources and innovation environment have a significant positive influence on scientific and technological output.Innovation resources and innovation environment can remarkably affect regional economic benefits.The interaction of capital cooperation,economic openness and regional innovation ecosystem suitability has a significant positive driving effect on regional innovation performance.In the regional innovation ecosystem,especially innovate subjects,have not produced a prominent effect on subjects on economic benefits,which further research is needed in the future about this section. |
