Exports have a significant impact on the economic growth of a country.International trade exchanges can not only improve the economic interests of the country,but also trade countries.The additional technology contained in the export trade goods reflects the trade competitiveness of a country.The higher the additional technology is,the stronger the competitiveness of the trade goods will be.The trade will be more beneficial to the country and the country will gain greater economic benefits.In China,the manufacturing industry is dominated by low-end manufacturing and the added value of export products is relatively low.Too much low-end manufacturing will lead to the decline of China's position in the division of labor in the world and put China at a disadvantage in the international export trade.In developed countries,the export of high-end manufacturing products accounts for a high proportion and the added value is high,which can generate huge economic benefits every year.Despite the rapid development of science and technology,China still has the disadvantage of low added value of export products compared with developed countries.Facing such a difficult situation,how to improve the technical level of China's export products and how to form export competitive advantage in international trade is a problem of great research significance.Through sorting and reviewing the existing literature,it is found that technological innovation is the core way to get rid of many disadvantages of the current manufacturing industry,improve the export technology level and form the domestic competitive advantage.Technological innovation mainly improves the technical complexity of export through improving product quality,improving industrial structure and improving product production efficiency.Technological innovation comes from two aspects: first,the endogenous innovation power of R&D institutions in various regions;On the other hand,it is the spillover technology brought about in the process of import and export trade.By acquiring,absorbing and transforming the spillover technology knowledge,r&d institutions in various regions promote technological innovation and ultimately increase the technical complexity of export.However,the relationship between spillover technology,the innovation capacity of r&d institutions in different regions and the complexity of export technology,and the role of infrastructure in different regions and the development environment of related technologies are still to be demonstrated.Based on the above arguments,this paper selects the panel data of 30 inland provinces(excluding Tibet autonomous region)from 2002 to 2013 for empirical analysis.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows :(1)Technological innovation promotes the improvement of technical complexity of export.The higher the technical complexity of export,the stronger the ability to absorb the spillover technology,and the weaker the inhibition effect of foreign technology spillover on the increase of technical complexity of export will be enhancedability to absorb spillover technologies is more beneficial to regions with low technical complexity.(2)Infrastructure,as a threshold variable that affects the absorption of spillover technology,has a significant positive impact on improving the innovation level and then the technical complexity of export technology by absorbing spillover technology before and after the threshold value.(3)Technology spillover has a positive mediating effect in the relationship between innovation drive and technical complexity of export.Finally,based on the conclusion of this paper,three policy Suggestions are proposed :(1)To strengthen the technical connection between regions.Technology spillovers between regions can be promoted through the strengthening of technological links between regions.(2)Strengthen international technology spillovers.By building a sound technology spillover and absorption environment,each region can promote international technology spillover,accumulate technical deposits for regional technological innovation and promote regional technological development.(3)The government should strengthen incentives for R&D institutions and encourage them to conduct independent R&D and innovation.Research and development institutions have long introduced technology to carry out technological innovation,which is easy to form the path dependence of technological innovation and restrain the independent innovation capacity of the region.Therefore,the government should constantly encourage regional R&D institutions to carry out independent innovation and master their own core technologies in key areas.
