Study On Evaluation Of Rural Development Level And Development Types In Huangpi Of Wuhan

Under the effect of the long-term urban-rural dual system structure,the gap between urban and rural areas in China has further expanded,and the issue of rural development has always received widespread attention from academia and society.In this case,how to characterize the degree and status of rural development,understand the differences in the development levels of rural areas,and clarify the types and stages of rural development have an important role in stimulating the endogenous power of rural revitalization and promoting the level of regional rural economic development.In rural development evaluation studies,relevant studies in the suburbs of metropolises are rare.The scale of most studies stays above the town,and there is a lack of more micro-level(such as administrative village)assessments of rural development.As a national central city,Wuhan has outstanding geographical advantages,focusing on the main advantages of population,resources and policies in central China.Wuhan is currently at an advanced stage of urbanization,but the rural hinterland is vast and the problems of rural development are more complicated.As an administrative area with the largest rural area and the largest agricultural population in the suburbs of Wuhan City,Huangpi has its typical and special rural development issues.Firstly,this study takes 622 administrative villages in Huangpi as the research object,builds an evaluation index system from the four dimensions of population settlement,land use,economic industry and human settlement environment,and uses the entropy weight method to calculate the rural development level.Secondly,spatial autocorrelation and other analytical methods are used to quantitatively measure the distribution characteristics of rural development level and the correlation between villages.On this basis,the two methods of principal component analysis and cluster analysis are used to classify the villages with common characteristics,and summarize the regional characteristics of different types of rural development.Then,this study combined with the method of geographical survey,in-depth study of typical cases of villages at the micro level.Finally,according to the different types of rural development areas in Huangpi,this study proposes corresponding optimization strategies.The research shows that:(1)The population density and settlement concentration of various villages in Huangpi have changed significantly;the gap in land use degree is small;the general level of economic industry is low;the living environment of a few villages is leading and the difference is significant.(2)The overall rural development level of Huangpi has a large gap and a low level of development;the rural development level presents significant spatial differentiation characteristics,and the overall pattern is "south high and low north".(3)Administrative villages with a high rural development level tend to be spatially distributed,as are administrative villages with a low rural development level,and there are far more low-value clusters than high-value clusters.(4)Classify and describe the rural development in Huangpi,and comprehensively classify four types of villages,namely characteristic development,resource replacement,urban-rural integration and comprehensive development.(5)Special development villages should continue to promote the development of industry specialization and steadily improve the rural competitive advantage.Resource replacement villages replacement should conduct scientific and effective evaluation of existing resources to promote the efficient integration of resources.Urban-rural integration villages should actively promote the balance of urban and rural factors and public resources equalization.Comprehensive development villages should be upgraded in a comprehensive manner to cultivate advantageous economic growth points.
