Research On The Influencing Factors And Countermeasures Of Manufacturing Industry In Jiangsu Province

As one of the major manufacturing provinces in China,Jiangsu Province's manufacturing production gives a positive example to the development of whole manufacturing industry in China.However,due to the bottleneck of the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu,it is significant to analyze the factors affecting the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province and explores the feasibility of Jiangsu manufacturing to the high end.The research subject of this thesis is the influencing factors of the manufacturing industry to the high end in Jiangsu Province.First of all,the relevant literature method is used to sort out the literature related to the division of labor in the global value chain and the high-end of the manufacturing industry.On this basis,the definition of “towards the high-end” has been clearly defined.After distinguishing the basic concepts,the thesis distinguishes the global value chain driven model from the buyer and the producer according to the existing literaturewithin explaining the main influences of China's participation in the international division of labor under different driving forces.The main factors affecting the manufacturing industry's highend in a country could be summarized as the country's manufacturing innovation level,human resources investment level,capital investment level,foreign trade participation level and regional economic development level.What's more,the qualitative and quantitative research methods are practiced to explore the main factors affecting the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province.The empirical results show that the main factors have a considerable impact on the manufacturing industry towards the high end,without no significant difference,Finally,combined with the results of empirical analysis and the above chapters,the recommendations of Jiangsu Province's manufacturing industry to the high end are proposed from both the enterprise and the government.
