After the reform and opening up,with the continuous advancement of urbanization, rapid economic development and rapid improvement of industrialization level, the scale and structure of construction land have changed, and the demand for urban construction land has increased continuously, which has caused a series of problems such as the occupation of arable land and agricultural land and the extensive use of land. How to improve the intensive use rate of land, solve the problems of economic development and Food security and prudent transfer of urban construction land are gradually becoming the focus of attention in China. As a large agricultural province,Hunan Province is an important grain producing area of our country. Therefore,we should adopt scientific and reasonable methods to guide the reasonable expansion of urban construction land and ensure the sustainable development of society.First of all,the paper analyzes the current situation and characteristics of urban construction land expansion in Hunan Province from two aspects of scale and structure, finds out the problems of urban construction land expansion in Hunan Province and analyzes the rationality of its change;secondly,it qualitatively analyzes the possible impact of urban construction in Hunan Province from six aspects of population, traffic, social, economic, policy and natural factors On this basis,12 driving factors are selected from 21 alternative driving factors in four dimensions, and the main driving factors of urban construction land expansion in Hunan Province are selected by principal component analysis;finally, the core driving factors of urban construction land expansion in Hunan Province are obtained by using multi-element stepwise regression method, and the core driving factors of urban construction land expansion in Hunan Province are established The quantitative relationship between urban construction land expansion and core driving factors is obtained by regression model, and the driving differences of core driving factors in different periods of time in Hunan Province are analyzed. The author draws the following conclusions:(1)The overall trend of urban construction land in Hunan Province is on the rise.2005-2011 is a relatively rapid growth stage,2012-2017 is a relatively slow growth stage, with the largest cumulative increase in Changsha and Zhuzhou.Chenzhou,Changde,Zhuzhou and Xiangxi have seen rapid growth, and 10 prefecture level cities such as Changsha,Zhuzhou and Xiangtan have exceeded the average growth rate of Hunan Province Degree.(2)The dynamic degree of the scale expansion of urban construction land in Hunan Province is slightly higher than the national level, the structural development is not balanced, the expansion of urban construction land is unreasonable, and there is a certain waste of funds, and the economy and intensification of urban construction land need to be improved.(3)In the driving force of urban construction land expansion,it is greatly influenced by social and economic development, income level and road traffic.Road area, financial expenditure and the proportion of secondary and tertiary industry output value are the core driving factors of urban construction land expansion in Hunan Province.Through the analysis of the core driving factors, this paper aims to put forward countermeasures and measures to tap the potential of the existing land and promote the upgrading of the industrial structure through the reasonable control of the core driving factors,so as to make the urban construction land expand reasonably, evenly and orderly under the comprehensive effect of the core driving factors, and to provide decisionmaking for the government to formulate and improve the land resource management system and the overall urban planning Basis and reference significance.
