With the increasing awareness of dental and oral health,people are more and more eager to have the clean and beautiful teeth.As the basic equipment of dental medical treatment,the demand for dental chair market is also increasing.In the meantime,faced with different customer groups,individualized and differentiated product supply needs,and the increasing number of small-volume supply channels,it has been difficult to adapt the traditional dental chair mass production method to the international market.At present,FONA dental chair company has shifted from mass production to mixed-model production mode.In the process of transformation,it is found that the mixed-model production line is inefficient and how to improve the balance rate of the mixed-model production line is a problem that FONA dental chair company urgently needs to solve.Now the company will hand over this problem to the Process & Industrial Engineering department to lead and solve it.This article takes the F1000 production line of FONA dental chair company as an object,and studies the balance of the mixed-model production line of three products F1000 D,F1000S,and F1000 L produced on the same production line at the same time.Product structure,production process and production line layout of dental chair mixed production line are introduced.Based on the data collected in the previous period,the current balance of the production line was analyzed,the problem points and causes were found,and the research plan and optimization ideas were formulated.Firstly,through the product assembly work process and corresponding standard work time of the three models of F1000 dental chairs,the respective work priority sequence diagrams of the three products are made.Then an approximation method is used to synchronize the processes of the mixed-model production line into a single variety production line.On the basis of the single-product production line balance problem solving method to solve the mixed production line balance problem,the processing process is to combine the production work priority map of the three products into a comprehensive work order priority map.The standard operating time of each task is a weighted average of the standard operating time of the three products according to the proportion of demand.According to the classification of the classic production line balance problem,combined with the actual situation of the F1000 mixed-model production line,mathematical modeling is performed,and the solution goal is to minimize the number of workstations and load balance.The genetic algorithm is used to solve the problem,and the optimal allocation scheme is obtained.As the balance of the F1000 mixed-model production line is based on the average equivalent assembly time of the three products' mixed-model production,it does not reflect the actual assembly time of the three products,there is a certain gap with the actual situation.Finally,Plant Simulation simulation software was used to verify the results of the previous process,and further verification was performed.An example analysis verified the effectiveness of the method.The research focus of this article is to use the combination of genetic algorithm and simulation software to solve the practical problems faced by FONA dental chair company.The application of the method not only saves time and space,but also provides a good case for FONA dental chair company to fully implement mixed-model production lines.
