Lean production is a kind of mature production management system,Lean production is applied to reduce costs,eliminate waste,improve quality,and acquire maximum output with the minimum input in the enterprise.In recent years,the system was applied to the traditional manufacturing industry and has obtained the huge gains at home and abroad.Value stream map is one of the important enabling tools of lean production,and get more and more attention from enterprises.Based on assembly line of B Company,an enterprise specialized in producing power tools,as the research object,value stream map was used to research production line balance and improvement of assembly line.First through the paper used the assembly line layout and the current VSM(Value Stream Map)to analyze the problems existed in the assembly line,put forward the use of industrial engineering method and TRIZ theory to solve the problem,and then optimized to improve on the assembly line and its processing equipment,finally use genetic algorithm to simulate assembly line balancing problem.The paper main content is as follows:The first chapter expounds research background and meaning of the thesis,and analyzes the lean production and value stream map current researches at home and abroad and development trend,finally introduces the research content and structure of this paper.The second chapter introduces lean production,value stream,fundamental industrial engineering and line balancing,and fundamental industrial engineering focuses on program diagram,questions technology of 5W1 H and four principles of ECRS.The third chapter analyzes assembly line of the electric tools,introduces the layout of the assembly line L5 C and process diagram of GWS750 grinder,draw the current VSM and analyze some problems of the production line.The fourth chapter uses MTM-UAS to subdivide work elements and collect the data of production line,and four laws "ECRS" was applied to production line equipment planning and layout optimizing;Then use the "5W1H" and brainstorming to obtain improving programs,and by using analytic hierarchy process(AHP)to determine the final plan;Then use industrial engineering method and the model of TRIZ theory to improve the feeding device;Finally,establish mathematical model of production line balancing and design the genetic algorithm.The fifth chapter uses the Matlab to simulation the improved assembly line,draw its future VSM and improved layout,and carry out implementation to realize the future VSM.The sixth chapter summarizes and prospects the research work.
