Study On The Current Situation And The Strategy Of Island Tourism Development In Sansha City

With the development and maturity of China’s Island Tourism Strategy Research and construction countermeasure system,island tourism has developed from a simple island management mode into a strategic layout and a systematic pattern to realize the diversified functions of island tourism.On the premise of protecting the fragile ecology of Sansha Island,the sustainable management and development of island tourism had become the main topic of this paper.This paper aims at making an in-depth study on the strategic management and development strategies of island tourism.It takes Sansha city as a typical case,collecting and sorting out the current situation of island tourism development in Sansha city of Hainan Province by three means: literature research,comparative research and SWOT analysis.It introduces the analysis of typical island tourism development models at home and abroad,such as Maldives,Hawaiian Islands and Zhoushan based on the development experience of these islands and their advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats.By combining them with the SWOT analysis of Sansha Island,this paper manages to study how to build an international first-class island tourism.Besides from that,this paper also introduces on how to strengthen the management and construction of Sansha island by three means: the new base station,informatization and datamation,in order to balance between current strong demand of island tourism and vulnerable natural environment.It proposes the innovation of tourism management system,the improvement of environmental protection system,and the cruise mail boat projects.By creating diversified tourism channels and bringing in talents whose specialty are on island development,it advocates the combination of heaven,sea and people,thus leading to an enclosed island tourism planning and development system.This paper not only takes Sansha as an empirical research case,but alsoadds practical cases for the follow-up research activities of the island tourism development in the academic circle,moreover,it proposes innovative models,which can be used as a useful supplement and introduction for the future island tourism development research.This paper applies the SWOT analysis method in the island tourism development;thus exploring the new development mode of island tourism in Hainan and opening another new chapter of China’s island tourism development.
