| Ecological civilization construction has become an important theme of social and economic development.As a strategic pillar industry in China,tourism has the characteristics of more related industries and strong driving effect of energy consumption.Therefore,it also has a great impact on the regional ecological environment and is an important field that affects the regional ecological efficiency.The scientific measurement and analysis of the influence degree and reverse effect of tourism industry agglomeration on ecological efficiency of city clusters in the middle reaches of Yangtze river as well as the influence difference between regions can provide important theoretical reference for the sustainable development of regional tourism industry and the improvement of ecological efficiency.Firstly,under the conceptual framework of total factors,this pape r calculated the ecological efficiency value and tourism industry agg lomeration level of 31 cities and counties in the city cluster in the middle reaches of the Yangtze river from 2005 to 2017 by using th e super efficiency DEA model and entropy method.Then,on the b asis of static analysis,the dynamic evolution process of the two wa s described in a panoramic way by using Kernel density function.Finally,Morans 'i index was used to test the spatial correlation of the ecological efficiency of city clusters in the middle reaches of th e Yangtze river,and the influence of tourism industry agglomeration on the ecological efficiency and regional differences were analyzed based on the spatial panel econometric model.The analysis results showed:(1)from 2005 to 2017,the annual mean value of ecologi cal efficiency of urban agglomerations in the middle reaches of the Yangtze river was 0.67,and there was still a large room for the i mprovement of ecological efficiency.There are significant differences in regional ecological efficiency,which generally shows that wuhan metropolitan area has the highest ecological efficiency,followed by the city group around poyang lake,and the distribution pattern of the city group around chang-zhuzhou-xiangtan is the lowest.In addi tion,the density function curve of ecological efficiency of city clust ers in the middle reaches of the Yangtze river presents a dynamic change process from "double peaks" to "three peaks",and the devel opment of ecological efficiency still faces the problem of incoordina tion.(2)in terms of the agglomeration of tourism industry,the aver age annual agglomeration of tourism industry in city clusters in the middle reaches of the Yangtze river from 2005 to 2017 was 0.98,higher than the national average.The regional tourism industry ag glomeration has a significant imbalance in the level of development.The tourism industry agglomeration is the highest in the urban agglomeration around poyang lake,followed by the urban agglomeratio n around changsha-zhuzhou-xiangtan,and the lowest in the urban a gglomeration of wuhan.The agglomeration density function of touri sm industry indicates that the agglomeration level of tourism industr y in city clusters in the middle reaches of the Yangtze river presen ts a trend of decentralized development.(3)there is a u-shaped cur ve relationship between tourism industry agglomeration and ecologic al efficiency in city clusters in the middle reaches of the Yangtze r iver.Technological innovation level and industrial structure play an important role in the influence of tourism industry agglomeration on ecological efficiency.(4)in terms of regional differences,there is a u-shaped curve relationship between the agglomeration of tourism industry and ecological efficiency in the two regions around the c hang-zhuzhou-xiangtan city cluster and the wuhan metropolitan area.The improvement of the agglomeration level of the tourism industr y in the two regions can improve the ecological efficiency,while th e improvement of the agglomeration of tourism industry in poyang lake area is not significant.In addition,the estimated results also re flect that the influence coefficient of tourism industry agglomeration in wuhan is the highest,followed by changzhutan and poyang lake.Finally,based on the relevant conclusions,it is suggested that all r egions should establish linkage mechanism and strengthen regional cooperation.We will increase investment in research and developmen t of innovative technologies and promote the steady development of low-carbon and environmental-friendly technologies for tourism.We will actively adjust the industrial structure,promote the optimizatio n and upgrading of the structure of the tourism industry,and prom ote the overall improvement of ecological efficiency. |
