| With the development of modern supply chain,the competition in the tourism market has changed from the competition between the original tourism enterprises to the competition between the tourism supply chains.The particularity of tourism products,the new demand of modern tourists,the increase in the number of outbound tourists,and the evolution of new tourism core enterprises have revealed that the self-sufficient,vertically integrated supply method will not be able to adapt to changes in the current tourism market.To develop tourism,we must attach importance to the organic integration of the tourism supply chain.Therefore,this paper studies the performance of tourism supply chains in 31 provinces and cities in China,with a view to providing a certain reference value for the development of tourism and the stable writing of tourism supply chains.This article first builds a tourism supply chain framework structure with tourism destinations as the core through literature research and theoretical analysis.It includes four stages: source,supply,delivery,and efficiency.These include tourism education,hotels,travel agencies,and tourist destinations.Secondly,according to the framework of tourism supply chain,an efficiency evaluation index system for tourism supply chain is designed.Then combined with the network DEA model of Tone et al.A network DEA efficiency evaluation model for the tourism supply chain was constructed,and the corresponding input-output variables were determined.Among them,the output from the previous stage and the input to the next stage were set to the middle Variables,and also compared the similarities between China’s tourism supply chain in network DEA and traditional DEA model.The evaluation results show that the performance of China’s tourism supply chain fails to reach the DEA effectiveness,and the overall efficiency of the tourism supply chain is not good.Judging from the efficiency values of each stage,star tourism hotels and tourism destinations have a slight advantage in China’s tourism supply chain;tourism education and travel agencies have underperformed.It reflects the deficiencies in the cultivation of tourism professionals in China,and the development of travel agencies is facing challenges due to the impact of modern network and information technology.From the efficiency evaluation of each stage of the tourism supply chain,it can be seen that from the perspective of efficiency and effectiveness,different provinces and cities should coordinate their own actual conditions to coordinate various parts of the tourism supply chain. |
