With the advent of technology, the term ‘financial literacy' is becoming a crucial element in today's economy. As organizations are focusing more on innovative technologies, the use of financial literacy is becoming more prominent in literature. This topic is under a lot of discussion in organizations that are moving towards the adoption and acceptance of modern technologies but can be seen as a limited edition in terms of agricultural sectors. The purpose of this paper is to critically analyze the influence of financial literacy on intentions to adopt modern crop technology by the farmers of Guinea. On the basis of Theory of Reasoned Action(TRA),this relation has been mediated by some imperative components that are also considered as a substantial part of Technology Acceptance Model(TAM)including technology acceptance behavior, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. These relations have never been discussed in the context of Guinea particularly in agriculture sector which is the novel part of this research. This study adopted quantitative methods to collect data from the farmers of Guinea such as through survey methods. The results of this study clearly depicts that there stands a significant positive association between financial literacy and intentions of farmers in Guinea to adopt innovative technologies in their lands which clearly indicates that farmers of Guinea have the potential to adopt such technologies. The issue lies in their literacy levels and the limited resources available by their government to the agriculture sector. This study also indicates that adopting behaviors and perceived ease of use towards a certain technology by the farmers significantly mediates between this relation as well. However, there exist an insignificant association by the mediation of perceived usefulness between literacy and intentions of farmers in Guinea. The current study is an addition in literature in the form of theoretical, practical and policy making as well.Theoretically, literature related to the context of Guinea will be enriched by the inclusion of this study. It also helps other organizations particularly agriculture sectors to focus on their financial literacy levels in order to increase productivity. Moreover,it also provides assistance to policy makers to design and formulate their policies accordingly in order to make better decisions. The present study acts as a base for various other researchers to analyze the role of financial literacy in numerous other sectors and countries as well.It also provides a way for further studies by adopting various other variables related to intelligence, openness and ambitious levels etc.by dividing the selected sample into strata form on the basis of literacy groups.
