With the change of the main contradiction in Chinese society, the unbalanced development among regions and the inadequate development in rural areas have become an important problem to be solved urgently. Therefore, how to narrow the gap and gradually realize the strategic goal of rural revitalization has become the significant research. This paper takes 26 cities in the Yangtze river delta region as the research object to analyze the spatial agglomeration characteristics and The evolution ways of urban-rural integration. Then, this paper explores the factors to improve the level of urban-rural integration and tries to put forward some countermeasures and Suggestions. The main conclusions of the study are as follows:Firstly, according to the goal of the rural revitalization strategy,This paper establishes an evaluation index system to evaluate the integration level of urban-rural integration in the Yangtze river delta. The result shows that the integration degree of urban and rural development is relatively high in this region, and the areas with the highest integration level are mainly concentrated in Shanghai, southern Jiangsu and northern Zhejiang. From 2007 to 2017,the integrated development of urban and rural areas in the Yangtze river delta showed a trend of undulate up on the whole. Then, the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of urban-rural integration in the Yangtze river delta were explored. The spatial distribution of urban-rural integration in the Yangtze river delta showed following characteristics: the urban-rural integration level in the southeast of the Yangtze river delta was relatively high, while the urban-rural integration level in the west and north was relatively low,and the distribution imbalance was prominent.Secondly, this paper explores the spatial agglomeration and its evolution mode of the integrated development of urban and rural in the Yangtze river delta by using the Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis method. The results of the global spatial autocorrelation analysis show that: the Moran's I index is all greater than 0,the integrated development of urban and rural areas in the Yangtze river delta presents a significant positive autocorrelation in spatial distribution, and the spatial agglomeration effect is obvious. The analysis of cold and heat shows that the hot spots with high spatial concentration of urban and rural integration are mainly distributed in the east of the Yangtze river delta and the south of Jiangsu, while the cold spots are mainly distributed in the west of the Yangtze river delta. On the basis of the local spatial autocorrelation method,it explores the evolution of the Yangtze river delta urban and rural integration development space agglomeration mode.LISA results indicate: the urban-rural integration development in eastern of Yangtze river delta associated with HH and LH type,Shanghai presents high value concentration, and Jiaxing presents low high concentration. In the western part of the Yangtze river delta, the LL type is dominant and shows a trend of contiguous areas, mainly in Anqing,Chizhou and Tongling. From the point of space-time evolution,urban-rural integration development in Yangtze river delta has obvious path dependence.Transition measure method result shows that in most cities only have class ? transition, spatial agglomeration features basically remain unchanged. However, the increasing number of hl-type cities indicates that the spatial dependence between regions is weakened, and the radiation driving effect of prefecture-level cities with high urban-rural integration development level is limited. Then, the empirical spatial data analysis method was used to explore the factors influencing the spatial differentiation of the integration of urban and rural areas in the Yangtze river delta.Through the establishment of classical regression model, spatial lag model and spatial error three different types of regression model for comparison, the spatial lag model was selected for spatial regression analysis. The empirical results show that :(1)spatial effect is an important factor influencing the integration level of urban and rural areas in the Yangtze river delta.Ignoring the impact of spatial factors on the integration of urban and rural areas will lead to the deviation of model estimation, and the spatial differentiation of the integration level of urban and rural areas in the Yangtze river delta is mainly caused by the spatial lag effect.(2)There is a significant positive spatial spillover effect in the integration of urban and rural areas in the Yangtze river delta, which means that the improvement of the integration level of urban and rural areas in adjacent regions will promote the integration level of local urban and rural areas.(3)There are significant differences in the impact of various factors on the integration of urban and rural areas, with infrastructure investment, residents' income and economic development level being the most important factors. Then, geographical weighted regression was used to carry out local spatial regression to deal with spatial heterogeneity. The regression coefficient shows obvious spatial difference,so countermeasures should be made according to local conditions.Based on the above research, this paper puts forward targeted policy Suggestions for cities in the Yangtze river delta to improve the integrated development of urban and rural areas based on the five aspects of economy, infrastructure, environment, policies and people's life, providing new ideas for realizing the integrated development of urban and rural areas in the Yangtze river delta and other regions.
