Evaluation On The Operational Efficiency Of Different Types Of Family Farms And Analysis Of Influencing Factors From The Perspective Of Land Size

In order to transform China's agricultural development mode and improve agricultural productivity,the NO.1 Central Document in 2013 formally put forward the important decision of developing family farms.Family farm is an important new business entity to stimulate rural economic vitality and revitalize rural industry.Zhejiang province is a pioneer in the reform and innovation of the national agricultural and rural.The rapid growth in the number of family farms has its positive side,but the quality of their development is even more important.Operating efficiency is an important reflection of the development quality of family farms,which is affected by many factors,among which land size is a very important factor.Land is the basis for all factors of production to play a productive role.Insufficient land scale will make it difficult for family farms to achieve scale efficiency,and excessive expansion of land scale will also lead to a decline in operating efficiency of family farms.Meanwhile,different types of family farms have different requirements on land scale.Through the evaluation of the operating efficiency of different types of family farms in Zhejiang province and the investigation of the influencing factors from the perspective of land size,it can provide the relevant basis and reference for the operating decisions of family farmers and the formulation of government policies in China.Articles in reference to the basis of relevant research results of family farm,first theoretically defines the concept of the family farm,the management efficiency and land scale,and then to the development status of the family farm in China and Zhejiang province,and then obtaining the survey data of 300 family farms in Zhejiang province,using the three stage DEA method and Tobit regression analysis method,for the empirical analysis of grain,vegetable and fruit of the three types of family farm operating efficiency as well as the empirical analysis from the perspective of land scale on the factors affecting the operating efficiency,finally,relevant Suggestions are put forward according to the research conclusion.Major findings include:(1)The technical efficiency of grain,vegetable and fruit family farms inZhejiang province is at a medium low level.Among them,the main constraint of the low technical efficiency of grain family farms is the low scale efficiency,the main constraint of the low technical efficiency of vegetable family farms is the low pure technical efficiency,and the high technical efficiency of fruit family farms mainly benefits from the high scale efficiency.(2)Land size is an important factor affecting the efficiency of family farm operation.Land size has a significant "inverted U-shaped" effect on the operating efficiency of grain family farms,vegetable family farms and fruit family farms.In other words,with the increase of land size,the operating efficiency of grain,vegetable and fruit family farms will increase firstly and then decrease.(3)From the perspective of operating efficiency,the average moderate scale of grain family farms is 8.97 hectares,the average moderate scale of vegetable family farms is 1.21 hectares and the average moderate scale of fruit family farms is 1.76 hectares.(4)Countermeasures and Suggestions: Grain,vegetable and fruit family farms which in the moderate scale should be moderately expand the scale of the current land management through land circulation,improve the level of farm mechanization production,the family farm which above the moderate scale should be moderately reduce the scale of land circulation,control the scale of land management in the moderate scale and improve the production and operation of the technical level The application level of modern science and technology in the production and operation of fruit family farms should be improved.According to different crop varieties,reasonably determine the appropriate land scale standard,standardize the rural land transfer platform,innovate the land transfer method and promote the land transshipment,expand the scope of credit collateral for family farms,improve the agricultural insurance system,further improve professional training for family farmers and establish a system of matching agricultural technology experts.Guide villagers,college students to return to village to participate in the establishment of family farms.
