With the development of the economy and the improvement of the market,innovation has become more and more important in China’s socio-economic development.How to use innovation to improve the core competitiveness of enterprises has always been an important subject in the field of management,and employees’ innovative behavior directly determines the innovation of an enterprise,so it has obtained a wealth of research results in terms of factors that affect employees’ innovative behavior.Summarizing the existing research results,it can be known that the factors affecting employees’ innovative behavior can be divided into three aspects: the influence of individual internal factors,the influence of external situation factors,and the interaction between them.Among them,the individual internal factor is the source of motivation for employees’ innovative behavior.and the empirical research on the path of employee mindfulness as an individual’s internal characteristics to employees’ innovative behavior is still lacking.Based on this,this research is based on the theory of social cognition and social exchange,and focuses on employee mindfulness,creative self-efficacy,employees’ innovative behavior,perceived insider status,organizational motivation,and then puts forward relevant research hypotheses.On this basis,this article adopts the method of questionnaire survey,with a sample of 315 employees,explores the impact of employee mindfulness-creative self-efficacy – employees’ innovative behavior,and further analyzes the regulation effect of perceived insider status and organizational motivation.Finally,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.The main conclusions of this research are as following:Firstly,employee mindfulness has a significant positive effect on employees’ innovative behavior.mindfulness,as an individual trait of an employee,can effectively improve the occurrence of employees’ innovative behavior through its four core elements.Second,creative self-efficacy plays a mediating role between employee mindfulness and employees’ innovative behavior.mindfulness gives employees self-regulation and high-quality attention to enhance their creative self-efficacy.Creative self-efficacy is a powerful intrinsic support for innovative behavior,and ultimately enhances the occurrence of individual innovative behavior.Thirdly,perceived insider status and organizational motivation play a positive moderating role between employee mindfulness and creative self-efficacy;perceived insider status and organizational motivation positively regulate employees mindfulness and employees’ innovative behavior,and are mediated by creative self-efficacy.The higher the level of perceived insider status and the higher the organizational motivation,the stronger the positive relationship between employee mindfulness and employees’ innovative behavior,and employee mindfulness and creative self-efficacy.This study helps to understand the mechanism by which employee mindfulness affects employees’ innovative behavior and the boundary conditions that play a role in this mechanism,It provides useful enlightenment for studying the influence of employee mindfulness on employees’ innovative behavior in the Chinese context.
