Aerospace manufacturing industry is a high-tech industry that needs high investment and innovation.It is a strategic industry in our country.It is an industry that represents a country 's highly developed productive forces.The aerospace manufacturing industry is a high-tech industry that achieves industrial structure optimization in China.Therefore,in the context of high-quality development,how to improve the total factor productivity of aerospace manufacturing industry is particularly important.This paper will analyze the impact of industrial agglomeration on TFP of aerospace manufacturing industry from the theoretical and empirical level.In the first place,at the level of theoretical research,according to Marshall's industrial zone theory,specialized division of labor forms industrial agglomeration,which brings about cost reduction and technology spillover.New economic geography believes that agglomeration brings about external scale economy,while Schumpeter's theory of technological innovation believes that industrial clusters are more likely to produce innovation in areas with developed innovation networks.This thesis will analyze the relationship between the industrial agglomeration effect,TFP and its decomposition indicators.This thesis believes that there are three aspects of the mechanism of influence.First,industrial agglomeration promotes technological progress in the agglomeration area by generating technology spillover effect,and then affects total factor productivity.Secondly,industrial agglomeration promotes the production of scale efficiency by realizing specialized division of labor,reducing transaction cost and labor cost,and then affects TFP.Third,industrial agglomeration provides the basis for technical efficiency by bringing the accumulation of material and human capital,and then affects total factor productivity.In the next place,in terms of empirical analysis,this paper uses the data of aerospace manufacturing industry in 18 provinces from 2008 to 2016,uses Malmquist index method to measure total factor productivity,uses location entropy to measure the degree of industrial agglomeration,and returns the panel data model of industrial agglomeration and total factor,and draws two conclusions.First,Industrial agglomeration contributes to the growth of TFP and technological progress and scale efficiency and pure technical efficiency and EFF of aerospace manufacturing.Secondly,at present,the promotion of industrial agglomeration on TFP of aerospace manufacturing industry mainly depends on the improvement of technological progress and scale efficiency,but has little impact on pure technological efficiency.In the end,based on theoretical and empirical analysis,this thesis draws recommendations for the impact of four industry clusters on total factor productivity in the aerospace manufacturing industry.First,strengthen the interaction between industry,University and research in the industrial cluster,enhance the role of technology spillover,and promote technological progress.Second,strengthen the agglomeration of aerospace manufacturing industry and promote the improvement of economies of scale in agglomeration areas.Third,make effective use of capital and technical and management talent,strengthen technological improvement,and promote the improvement of pure technical efficiency.Fourth,reasonably plan R & D investment and improve R & D efficiency.
