Performance appraisal is an important part of human resource management,and also one of the important factors reflecting the core competitiveness of enterprises.At present,commercial banks are facing fierce market competition and complex internal and external environment.Therefore,in order to stand out in the fierce competition environment,we need to optimize and adjust the original performance appraisal,take various forms of performance appraisal methods for employees in daily operation and management,maximize the internal potential of human resources,and provide guarantee for the achievement of the bank's overall business objectives.Based on this,this paper takes the idea of finding,analyzing and solving problems to study.First of all,by referring to the relevant literature and materials of performance appraisal,this paper conducts a questionnaire survey on the current situation of performance appraisal of LX Agricultural Bank,and interviews with all levels of the bank to collect data.The problems of LX Agricultural Bank's performance evaluation include: unreasonable design of performance evaluation index,imperfect performance evaluation method,lack of feedback in performance evaluation process and lack of application of performance evaluation results.Secondly,through the analysis,the reasons for the above problems are: the purpose of performance appraisal is not clear,the lack of organizational guarantee of performance appraisal implementation,the neglect of the participation and training of employee performance appraisal,and the lack of a perfect performance appraisal system.Thirdly,target management method,balanced scorecard and other methods are used to locate the corporate objectives and key assessment indicators.Then,the key performance indicator method is used to complete the design of the assessment indicators of banks,departments and employees,and optimize and improve the bank's performance assessment plan,implementation,result feedback and Application process.Finally,in order to ensure the smooth progress of the performance appraisal program,we should formulate and implement safeguard measures at the organizational,institutional and cultural levels,so as to help LX Agricultural Bank of China achieve its strategic objectives and enhance its core competitiveness.The feature of this paper is to locate the strategic objectives of bank management with the idea of objective management,find out the key achievements related to thebank's strategic objectives with the framework of Balanced Scorecard,and refine the key achievements into KPI indicators for performance appraisal.The new performance appraisal system has achieved the strategic goal of the bank,built a good relationship between employees,improved customer satisfaction,and promoted the improvement of core competitiveness.However,there are still many shortcomings,such as the indicators and weights in the scheme still need to be tested and adjusted in the future practice of the bank.
