Research On Project Portfolio Management Based On Strategic Orientation In IT Enterprises

For project-oriented enterprises,project management is an important part of enterprise management,and effective project management is an important factor determining the success of enterprises.With the rapid development of new IT technology in China,IT enterprises and departments will face new opportunities and challenges,many IT enterprises need to undertake more IT projects to maintain and increase the competitiveness of enterprises.However,the increasing number of projects and the limited resources of enterprises have increasingly become the bottleneck restricting the development of enterprises.But the traditional single project management has been unable to solve such conflicts,and enterprises began to realize the importance of portfolio management.Because portfolio management can combine with enterprise strategy.Through the evaluation and filtration of each individual projects,group related projects,and allocate project resources,give full play to synergies,which can reduce enterprise project cost to the greatest extent,so as to achieve the effect of 1+1 > 2.Portfolio has great application advantages,which can provide a strong guarantee for enterprises in a changeable environment.Portfolio management can link strategy and Projects,analyze and evaluate each project,classify and combine them according to the relationship between each project so that the portfolio can serve the overall strategic objectives of the enterprise.In the process of portfolio management,the ability to deal with resource conflicts,Organization matching and coordination between projects and organizations are often difficult to implement in the application of portfolio management.This paper will take Y company's actual IT project management as the research object,from the perspective of strategic orientation,apply project management,multi-project management and other related theories,and put forward a conceptual model based on the research results of relevant scholars,and conduct a systematic analysis of the problems which was frequently encountered in portfolio management.From the filtration,sorting and resource allocation of projects to the coordination between projects and organizations in the process of portfolio management.Comprehensive and systematic solutions and optimization strategies are proposed in this paper.Improve the success rate of enterprise projects,so as to achieve the strategic objectives of the enterprise.The practical solution constructed in this paper is based on the project practice of an IT enterprise.Combined with the relevant theories of portfolio management,analyzes the current situation and problems of the enterprise and proposes feasible and systematic solutions.The research object is more representative and has strong practical application and reference value for project-driven enterprises.23 figures,19 tables,58 pieces of references.
