Research On The Evaluation Of The Satisfaction Of The Poor Households' In Dingxi City With The Poverty Alleviation Effect Of Farmers' Professional Cooperatives

As a decisive stage for building a well-off society in an all-round way,the year 2019 is also a crucial year to win the battle against poverty.As one of the new agricultural operators,farmers' professional cooperatives play an essential role in promoting the process of poverty alleviation and accelerating the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.The article takes Dingxi C ity as the research area,and mainly studies the following five points.Firstly,it describes the current situation of poverty in Dingxi C ity,the development of farmers' professional cooperatives,and the poverty alleviation of cooperatives.Secondly,it statistically analyzes the relevant information of 42 farmers' professional cooperatives and 331 poor households in the sample area,which is the basic information of the poor members,the farmers' professional cooperatives and their participating in poverty alleviation.Thirdly,from the perspective of the satisfaction of 331 poor households,it evaluates the poverty alleviation effects of cooperatives from three aspects: economic benefits,capacity enhancement and rights protection.It uses the factor analysis to calculate the satisfaction scores of poor households on different common factors,and analyzes the poverty alleviation results of the cooperatives.In addition,it explores the main factors of poor households' evaluation on the effect of cooperatives from four aspects: the individual characteristics of poor households,the awareness of poor households' participation,the characteristics of cooperatives and the government policies through the ordinal multi-class logistic regression model.Lastly,the research conclusions and relevant countermeasures are put forward based on the above analysis of the poor households' satisfaction with the poverty alleviation effect of farmers' professional cooperatives and the influencing factors in Dingxi City.The research findings are as follows: First,the poor households in Dingxi C ity are satisfied with the poverty alleviation effects of farmers' professional cooperatives on the whole.In detail,the highest satisfaction factor is right protection factor,the next is economic benefit factor,and the satisfaction degree of ability improvement factor is relatively low.Second,the satisfaction of poor households with the poverty alleviation effect of cooperatives is influenced by the individual characteristics of poor households,their awareness of participation,the scale of the cooperatives,organizational management,operating conditions,and policy support,but the impact of each variable varies.To be specific,the fewer family laborers of poor households,the more satisfied they are with the effect of the cooperatives.Poor households were more satisfied with cooperatives that hold regular meetings among their members.The stronger the profitability of the cooperatives,the higher satisfaction of the poor households.When policy supports meet the development needs of cooperatives,the poor households are more satisfied with the poverty alleviation effect of cooperatives.When the poor households are younger and the number of non-members driven by cooperatives is less,these two variables will have a significant inhibiting effect on the satisfaction of poor households.However,with the growth of age and the increasing in the number of people led by cooper atives,the inhibitory effect gradually becomes insignificant.When the poor households have a correct and clear cognition of the cooperatives,the poverty alleviation effect of the cooperatives and the satisfaction of poor households can be improved.Last but not least,here are some suggestions: For the poor,what they should is to raise the awareness of participation,stimulate motivation of poverty alleviation,improve the overall quality,and strengthen the anti-poverty ability.For the farmers' professional cooperatives,it is significant to strengthen education and training,enhance intellectual support;and deal with the interests of various subjects,improve internal sticky mechanisms;and enhance their own strength,to achieve quality and standardized development.Equally,it is advisable for the government to intensify the publicity of cooperatives,optimize support policies for cooperatives and establish a sound poverty alleviation incentive mechanism.
