Research On Garlic Industry And Price Fluctuation In Yongnian

As one of the main producing areas of garlic in China,the garlic industry in Yongnian county has become an important pillar of the local agricultural economy.This article combined uses the literature review method,interview method,the questionnaire survey research methods for the research of Yongnian county garlic industry development current situation.By using time series analysis(X-12 model & H-P filtering method),The monthly price of yongnian garlic from 2016 to 2019 was scientifically analyzed,we are trying to find out the law of price fluctuation and influence factor,and to explore a way of Yongnian county garlic industry sustainable development.The research has prove that: the region of Yongnian county has a good necessary natural and policy conditions for garlic industry development,while has a mature technical advantage of garlic storage and processing.Regional distribution,standardized production and industrialized management have formed already in the early development process.In the year of 2018,the garlic planting area in Yongnian county has exceeded over 150,000 mu,and processing enterprises were more than 100,the processing volume of garlic products reached 55,000 tons.However,there are also problems such as low production concentration,decreased willingness of garlic planting,low level of processing industry and industrial development slowdown.The price of yongnian garlic fluctuates frequently.By obviously seasons influenced and random factors such as weather disasters,the price of garlic fluctuates by 215.7% between years.Garlic prices have recovered recently,but the overall downward trend has not changed.In view of the problems existing in Yongnian county garlic industry and the causes of price fluctuations,there are eight countermeasures and suggestions are proposed: to stabilize garlic planting area,to improve the organization degree of farmers,to establish garlic market information service platform,to promote garlic target price insurance to stabilize garlic price and protect the interests of garlic farmers.By promoting standardized industrial production,improving the level of garlic deep processing,strengthening brand publicity,and improving the management guarantee system,it is possible to promote the industrial upgrading.The government,enterprises and ordinary garlic farmers still have a good prospect and high expectations of the garlic industry.We hope the research can be helpful to the development of garlic industry in Yongnian county.
