Innovation Network,Innovation And High-tech Enterprise Growth

In the background of globalization and knowledge economy,the competitive environment faced by enterprises has become more complicated.To obtain sustainable advantages,enterprises especially high-tech enterprises have to carry out the cooperative innovation activities in order to make up for the inadequacy of their own resources.High-tech enterprises are important carriers of technological innovation and transformation of achievements,which are also the strong supporting point for economic development.Compared with the developed countries,the high-tech enterprises in China have a certain gap in the overall development level,the ability of technological innovation and the external environment for the growth of enterprises.Therefore,under the background of the rapid development of innovation network,the study of the growth of high-tech enterprises becomes an important theoretical problem and realistic problem.Following the theoretical analysis,model construction and empirical research path,listed high-tech enterprises are selected as samples to study the relationship among innovation network,technological innovation and enterprise growth.The main research work:First,through systematically analysis of existing literatures,bringing out the theory outlines relating to this study,laying the theoretical foundation for empirical study.Second,establishing the patent cooperation network of China by using the data of invention patents applied jointly,then analyzing the structure and evolution features of the network,and finding out that,the patent cooperation network is of large size,low density and small-word features,large-scale state-owned firms and top universities takes up the very important positions in the network,the evolution of the patent cooperation network is a trend of scale expansion and relationship tightening.Third,putting forward assumptions of the relationship among innovation network,innovation and high-tech enterprises growth,establishing the relative econometric model.Based on the panel data from sample enterprises,performing empirical research for the model and hypothesis,and finally finding out that network centrality positively affects the growth of high-tech enterprises,while structural holes have no obvious influence on the growth of hightech enterprises.R&D investment and the number of patents both play meditative roles between centrality and the growth of high-tech enterprises.At last,proposing the depth study outlook on the basis of drawing conclusions.Comparing with the existing research achievements,probably contributions exist:(1)Establishing the ten-year patent cooperation network of China and analyzing the structure and evolution characteristics of it.(2)Connecting up innovation network,innovation and the growth of high-tech enterprises,studying the function mechanism of innovation network,validating the mediator effect of innovation.
