Research On The Influence Of Farmers' Professional Cooperatives On Farmers' Income

The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China first proposed the rural vitalization strategy and under the “No.1 central document” and “rural vitalization strategy plan(2018-2022)” implemented in 2018,it repeatedly emphasized that agriculture,rural areas and farmers are the fundamental issues related to the national economy and the people's livelihood.As one of the new agricultural business entities,farmer's professional cooperatives play a very important role in the implementation of the rural vitalization strategy.The“rural vitalization strategy plan” clearly pointed out that it is necessary to “improve the standardization of farmers' professional cooperatives and encourage the development of farmers' professional cooperative associations”.The development and improvement of farmer's professional cooperatives is not only an inevitable requirement for promoting agricultural modernization,but also an important way to achieve the rural construction and to increase farmers' income.With the continuous maturity and growth of farmer's professional cooperatives,the role of farmer's professional cooperatives has become more and more prominent in leading farmers to take the road of organized market development,extending agricultural industry chain,expanding various functions of agriculture,realizing agricultural development and increase of peasantry incomes.However,the mechanism,the specific implementation path and the main influencing factors of which farmer's professional cooperatives can drive farmers to increase their income need to be further explored.On the basis of defining the concepts of farmers' professional cooperatives and rural income,this paper examines the relevant theoretical foundations,such as Marxist farmers' cooperative economic thoughts,and sorts out the development history of farmer's professional cooperatives in China,its new characteristics at the present stage and its development significance under background of rural revitalization strategy.By constructing a mechanism analysis framework for the influence of farmers' professional cooperatives on farmers' income,this paper clarifies its realization path and influencing factors and finally applying empirical analysis and case analysis to verify the influencing factors and find out the existing problems.After the above analysis,the conclusion drawn from this paper is that the service content,the arrangement of property rights,decision-making mechanism and external environment of farmers' professional cooperatives will have an impact on farmers' income.Among them,in terms of service content,providing improved seedling services,applying advanced agricultural production techniques,uniformly purchasing and supplying agricultural materials,uniformly selling agricultural products,and registering agricultural product brands are positively related to farmers' business income;organizing learning and training activities,conducting agro-processing,and innovating the agricultural development model by integrating first and third industries is positively related to the wage income of farmers;the provision of credit facilitation services is positively related to the property income of farmers.In terms of the arrangement of property rights,farmers are allowed to become a shareholder through various means,and encouraging ordinary members to become a shareholder is positively related to the property income of farmer.In terms of decision-making mechanism,the member assembly as the main body of decision-making and the one-person-one-vote(including the form of additional voting rights)as the main way of decision-making are positively related to the farmers' transfer income;In terms of the external environment,obtaining state financial support is positively related to farmers' transfer income.However,farmers' professional cooperatives have many problems in the actual operation of promoting the increase of farmers' income.This paper focuses on the service content,the arrangement of property rights,decision-making mechanism and external environment to propose corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,to promote the healthy development of farmers' professional cooperatives and better drive farmers to increase their income.
