Since the reform and opening up,China's catering industry has developed vigorously and has become one of the important pillars of the tertiary industry.However,with the rapid development of catering industry,the high turnover rate of employees has become a bottleneck restricting the healthy and sustainable development of catering business.The reason is that the low job satisfaction of employees is one of the important factors.Over the years,experts and scholars at home and abroad through a large number of studies have shown that employees are the greatest wealth of enterprises.Only efforts to improve the job satisfaction of employees can create greater benefits for enterprises.Therefore,catering companies should pay close attention to employees' job satisfaction,conduct surveys on employees' job satisfaction,and take appropriate measures to improve employees' job satisfaction,which is of great significance for managing human resources and promoting sustainable development of enterprises.Because the hongdingtian restaurant in Shihezi city is representative in Shihezi area,based on the collation,analysis and summary of the existing literature on the concept of employee job satisfaction,influencing factors and incentive theory,this paper takes 74 front-line ordinary employees and department directors(principals)who have worked in hongdingtian restaurant for 3 months in Shihezi City as the research objects.Based on the mature foreign employee satisfaction questionnaire,this paper designs the employee work questionnaire which is in line with the actual situation of the hotel after interviewing and discussing the managers and employees of the hotel.Before the formal implementation of the questionnaire survey,this paper uses SPSS statistical analysis software to test the employee job satisfaction questionnaire.The results show that the questionnaire is a reasonable and feasible one.Then,the paper investigates the job satisfaction of employees in hongdingtian restaurant of Shihezi City,and makes a comprehensive analysis of the survey results.The survey shows that the hotel employees' job satisfaction is at a general level,and six dimensions,including salary return,working environment,work itself,interpersonal relationship,leadership management,and the hotel as a whole,have different effects on the hotel employees' satisfaction,such as their gender,marital status,education level,working years,post level and other individual factors.In view of the problems existing in the staff satisfaction management of hongdingtian restaurant in Shihezi City,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the staff satisfaction of the hotel.Combining theory with practice,this paper puts forward its own opinions on improving the job satisfaction of hongdingtian restaurant employees in Shihezi City,which has a certain guiding role in the hotel human resource management in Shihezi area.
