Research On Dynamic Capability And Performance Of Resource-based Enterprises

Resource-based enterprises are the leading enterprises supporting the lifeblood of the national economy,but they have always had problems such as weak technological innovation capabilities,low R&D investment,and low output of scientific and technological achievements.Especially in the face of the current market changes,iterative technology updates,rapid product replacement,customer demand differences,these problems are particularly prominent,and the impact on resource-based enterprises is greater.Therefore,resource-based enterprises need to find and cultivate new capabilities to maintain the growth and development of the enterprise,build new capability combinations and structures to bring benefits and advantages to the enterprise,and better adapt to the uncertainty of the environment,that is,this capability is dynamic capability.Therefore,exploring the relationship between dynamic capabilities,environmental uncertainty and the performance of resource-based enterprises is necessary for resource-based enterprises to improve performance and achieve sustainable competitive advantage.Firstly,based on the research of domestic and foreign scholars,this paper divides dynamic capabilities into three dimensions,resource integration capabilities,absorption capabilities,and innovation capabilities.Environmental uncertainty is divided into two dimensions: environmental dynamics and environmental competitiveness.Empirical analysis was performed using balanced panel data from 145 resource-based companiesfor five consecutive years from 2014 to 2018.The research results show that(1)dynamic capabilities and performance of resource-based companies are significant positive effects;(2)Environmental uncertainty can significantly positively regulate the relationship between dynamic capabilities and resource-based enterprise performance.The conclusion shows that dynamic capability is an important factor for the performance of resource-based enterprises.Cultivating and developing dynamic capabilities can improve corporate performance.In addition,the higher the environmental uncertainty,the greater the role of dynamic capabilities,and the more they can be identified,utilized,integrated,and constructed Resources and capabilities,so as to absorb,digest,contain,and use into their own resources and capabilities,and then innovate new products and technologies.Obviously,dynamic capabilities are promoted through the interaction of resource integration capabilities,absorptive capabilities,and innovation capabilities,indicating that the capabilities of each dimension of dynamic capabilities do not exist independently but are interrelated.Finally,based on the analysis results of this article,some reference suggestions for the future development of resource-based enterprises are proposed from the perspective of the enterprise itself and the government.(1)When faced with an uncertain environment,resource-based enterprises must invest in more R&D institutions and attract more R&D high-tech talents,promote cooperation with universities and R&D institutions,and then promote more scientific and technological achievements and new Product output;(2)The government provides appropriate support and assistance,and the market determines the survival of the enterprise.
