| In recent years,rural finance has developed vigorously,and rural credit cooperatives across the country have continued to deepen their reforms,making remarkable achievements in promoting the reform of rural commercial banks and serving the development of agriculture,rural areas and farmers.At present,while the business scope and scale of rural commercial banks are constantly developing,they must fully consider how to improve their business and services so as to truly promote the development of rural finance,provide high-quality services for the “agriculture,rural areas and farmers”,and achieve the core objective of “based on the countryside,serving the three rural issues,creating urban-rural interaction,and a win-win situation with private enterprises”.Since rural commercial banks are faced with increasingly fierce market competition and different customer groups,and their internal performance appraisal is also facing unprecedented challenges.Local commercial banks that want to play a geographical advantage,increase market occupancy,and maintain the market share of banks must fully motivate their potential and fighting spirit.But how to build an efficient performance appraisal system,give full play to its own advantages,and improve the core competitiveness of enterprises is an urgent problem for a bank.Particularly for a bank reformed recently in Sha wan county,the rationality and scientificity of the performance appraisal system directly affect the effectiveness of the bank’s institutional reform.The existing performance appraisal system of a bank in Sha wan has certain flaws,which constrains the market competitiveness of the bank and the realization of its strategic objectives.This dissertation takes a bank in Sha wan county as the research subject.Based on the actual situation of the bank,the researcher sorted out the existing performance appraisal system and relevant content via different approaches such as collecting and arranging bank information,interviewing bank employees,etc.Meanwhile,the researcher also reviewed massive literature regarding the management methods and operational ideas of advanced commercial banks both at home and abroad,found out the existing problems by comparing professional knowledge,and analyzed the problems.The research set an entry point,integrated the advanced domestic and foreign managerial experience into the performance appraisal management of the bank,tried to optimize the entire evaluation system of the bank in an all-round manner and form a performance appraisal system with strong employee binding,significant incentive effect,and accurate selection of personnel,contributing to the realization of the bank’s strategic goals.In the optimization of the performance appraisal system of a bank in Sha wan county,the researcher adopted a principle of “open results,participation,differentiation,and timely feedback”,optimized the performance appraisal organization structure,enhanced the quantification of performance appraisal indicators,and improved the performance appraisal indicator system,making the goal of performance appraisal long lasting and in line with the bank’s strategic goals.The optimized system promised to arouse the proactivity of the personnel,improve the working atmosphere,promote entrepreneurial culture and bring benefits to the sustainable development of the bank. |
