Study On Characteristics Of The Evolution Of Urban And Rural Development Transformation In Sichuan Province

With the progress of science and technology and the development of society,the breaking of the inherent dual structure between urban and rural areas and the establishment of new relations have triggered a series of promotion and hindering effect in the process of urban and rural development.Many problems such as "three rural issues" and metropolitan diseases have also been created and yet to be solved,which have led experts and scholars to pay more attention to the issue of balancing urban and rural development.The transformation of urban and rural development is reflected in many aspects:Changes in people's lifestyles and ideological concepts,in the external appearance and internal functions of cities and villages where people live,the transformation of urban and rural relations,etc.The research and analysis of the current situation and law of urban and rural development is conducive to the rational planning of urban and rural development to guide it to the right path.Hereby,this paper quantitatively analyzes the coupling degree and coupling coordination degree of the transformation of urban and rural development between 2000 and 2015 in Sichuan province,using three factors:population urbanization,non-agricultural industrialization and land use urbanization.The results obtained can be summarized as follows:(1)The urbanization of Sichuan's population is relatively stable,the extent of changes in the eastern region is higher than that of the western region.The transformation of the industry has changed greatly from the original agriculture to the current industrial dominance,and there are regional differences due to the different natural environment and resource endowment.In terms of land use,based on kernel density estimation,the central and eastern parts of the basin are stronger than the western regions,and the urban construction land in Chengdu economic zone is more concentrated than other areas.(2)The coupling coordination degree of urban and rural development in Sichuan province is increasing rapidly,and the change is obvious.There are regional differences in the development and transformation status,coupling degree and coordination degree of different regions.The overall urbanization level of Sichuan province is”high east and low west".The coordination degree of urbanization and development transformation of the western Ganzi,Aba and Liangshan states is obviously lagging behind Sichuan basin and the eastern and southern part of Sichuan.(3)The proportion of agricultural population in the whole province is large,and the ratio of”one-to-one" coupling of factors also shows that the rate of population urbanization lags behind the non-agricultural industrialization.With better development foundation,Chengdu economic zone and other municipal administrative centers are better than the rest regions in the early stage.In the same period,the different factors of”one to one" coupling are different,and the range is various.(4)Using geographical detector to analyze the relation between the three factors and coupling coordination degree:Population,industry and land have contributed to the coordination degree of regional development and transformation,among which the population and industry contribution rate are higher.There is also a distinct positive correlation between population,industry and land conversion,and their internal interactions are strong.(5)According to the result analysis,there are three transition method in Sichuan:high degree of coordination and high speed development and transformation,moderate coordination and industry-led development and transformation,and moderate coordination and optimization of land use development and transformation.Based on the analysis of social and economic development in the corresponding district(city)or county,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward.
