Coffee is a kind of beverage crop with high economic value,which has been called the world's three major drinks together with tea and cocoa.Coffee industry is a characteristic industry rising rapidly in Yunnan Province in recent years.Its output has always accounted for more than 98% of the total output of the country.It has a unique resource advantage in the country."Yunnan coffee" represents the development of China's coffee industry in a large extent,and determines the world status of China's coffee.Moreover,from the perspective of its market potential,Yunnan coffee has many substitutes for internationally famous coffee Energy.However,there are still many problems in the development of Yunnan coffee industry,so we should evaluate the international competitiveness of Yunnan coffee industry more comprehensively,further improve the economic benefits of Yunnan coffee industry,and enhance the overall status of Yunnan coffee.In this paper,the coffee industry in Yunnan Province is taken as the research object,and the research status of international competitiveness and coffee industry at home and abroad is analyzed.By using the research methods of literature analysis,qualitative analysis,quantitative analysis and comparative analysis,and based on the theories of international competitiveness,comparative advantage,resource endowment and competitive advantage,this paper sorts out the theoretical research,evaluation index system and relevant research literature of coffee industry,and forms the evaluation of competitiveness and The theoretical basis of influencing factors researchThis paper analyzes the development of coffee industry in China and Yunnan Province from the aspects of planting distribution,consumption,production and processing,import and export trade.Yunnan Province mainly cultivates small seed coffee,which is mainly distributed in five core areas of Pu'er City,Lincang City,Baoshan City,Dehong city and Xishuangbanna;it basically forms a complete coffeeindustry chain,but mainly cultivates the upstream coffee,and the production and processing technology content is relatively low,and does not form a unified coffee industry technical standard;Yunnan Province basically exports the original coffee Beans dominated,showing a trade surplus,but not the ability to affect the world coffee market.This paper describes the problems existing in the development of coffee industry in Yunnan Province from various perspectives,including Single product structure,unstable supply,low profit margin,weak market influence of end products,lack of the same industry standards,lack of cooperation with international organizations,etc.In the evaluation of the international competitiveness of coffee industry,six indicators are selected from the two dimensions of comparative advantage and competitive advantage for quantitative analysis.The comparative advantage includes resource endowment coefficient(EF),export contribution rate,export growth advantage index,display comparative advantage index(RCA).The competitive advantage includes international market share(MS),trade competitiveness Index(TC),and use principal component analysis method to calculate competitiveness index.Through the comparison of the index values,it is found that although Yunnan coffee industry has a strong comparative advantage,it has not formed a corresponding competitive advantage,and the competitiveness fluctuates greatly.The overall international competitiveness of Yunnan coffee industry is weak.Although the gap between Yunnan and the big coffee producing countries is large,the international competitiveness is larger than that of the coffee planting countries around Yunnan.In terms of influencing factors,a total of 30 indicator frameworks are constructed,including five aspects: production capacity,market environment,technological innovation,social factors,and the status of economic entities Through the entropy method and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model,the influence degree scores of each influencing factor on coffee industry in Yunnan Province are obtained.The influencing factors in the first influencing factor index are: business entity status > technological innovation > market environment > productivity > socialfactors,and the influencing factors in the second influencing factor index are related policy support,the exchange rate is the least influential.Finally,according to the main influencing factors,combined with the current situation and problems of coffee industry development in Yunnan Province,the paper puts forward targeted suggestions from the two levels of government and enterprise.The government's suggestions include establishing a long-term support mechanism,vigorously developing leading enterprises,improving Yunnan Coffee Trading Center,and accelerating the construction of coffee standard system;the enterprise's suggestions include: strengthening the deep processing and brand construction of coffee,strengthening the intellectual support of talents,selecting high-quality coffee varieties,developing high-quality coffee,establishing farmer cooperative organizations,and actively expanding the international market.In order to improve the international competitiveness of the coffee industry in Yunnan Province,to ensure the healthy and sustainable development of the coffee industry to provide some reference.
