Research On The Impact Of Trade Facilitation On China's Exports Of ASEAN Agricultural Products

Nowadays,the continuous reduction of tariffs and the reduction of trade barriers have promoted the substantial growth of global trade.At the same time,the marginal benefit of free trade to trade growth is also weakening,and the problem of "non-efficiency of trade" has emerged.With the doha round's multiple studies and innovations on trade facilitation,trade facilitation is gradually seen as a new driving force for cross-border trade cooperation.Therefore,countries around the world are making efforts to promote the reform of trade facilitation by improving customs efficiency and lowering transaction costs.China and ASEAN established a free trade area in 2010,initiating a mode of cooperation and mutual assistance,and now China is ASEAN's largest trading partner.China and ASEAN are endowed with unique natural conditions,so they play an important role in the global trade of agricultural products.Therefore,agricultural trade has always been the focus of cooperation between China and ASEAN.However,in recent years,there have also been some problems such as the slowdown in the growth of bilateral agricultural trade.The focus of this paper is to explore the impact of improving trade facilitation on China's agricultural exports to ASEAN.This paper estimates the level of trade facilitation between China and seven ASEAN countries,combined with the trade structure of agricultural products,using the extension of the gravity model to analyze trade facilitation,economic size,distance and other variables.Based on the empirical test results,Based on the empirical test results,it explores the factors affecting China's agricultural exports to ASEAN,and try to put forward the corresponding suggestions.According to the research of this paper,the level of trade facilitation between China and seven other countries varies greatly.Many countries are inconvenient,there is great progress space,and the level of trade facilitation has a great influence on China's export agricultural products,so China and other countries should further simplified customs procedures,and popularize of the Internet to improve the level of trade facilitation,promote the development of agricultural products trade between China and ASEAN.
