| After more than 50 years of development,China's equipment manufacturing industry has formed a huge industrial scale and a relatively complete production system of segmented industries,which has become an organic whole integrated with the global industrial chain.Part of the equipment manufacturing industry in our country enterprise through participation in international division of labor,gradually realize the internationalization of production,however,facing the global economy worsened,global value chain low-end competition intensified,the foreign trade friction gradually sharpening situations,such as inserting into global value chain is to low-end elements with the advantage of cost in China's equipment manufacturing industry still faces many in dire need of resolving difficulties.From the perspective of the international situation,the global economy is facing a new pattern and new trend.Developed countries,in order to maintain their core interests in the value chain,are encouraging the return of industrial capital.From the perspective of international development,China's equipment manufacturing industry as a whole is still at the low end of the value chain,which is blocked and squeezed by the leading enterprises in the value chain.From the point of view of domestic development,China's equipment manufacturing industry is still big but not strong.In addition,China's equipment manufacturing industry is suffering from production costs,resources and environmental pressure,and it is in urgent need of changing its development momentum.This development situation makes China's equipment manufacturing industry not only face the challenge of upgrading,but also the "two-way squeeze" from developed countries and other developing countries.Therefore,it is urgent to build a new value chain based on local advantages and occupy a dominant position.Based on the theory of global value chain and based on the changes of product price and market sales,this paper constructs a measurement system of GVC status and upgrading trend of equipment manufacturing industry by the relative export price of intermediate products and Kaplinsky upgrade index.The results show that China's equipment manufacturing industry is still in a low position in the global value chain,but its products show great upgrading advantages,and the upgrading products are mainly concentrated in the middle and high-end automobile and rail transit industries.These industries in the state of value chain upgrading are the future directions of China's equipment manufacturing industry.In global value chain upgrade related theory,this article from the elements and flow,the influence factors of structure and efficiency factors of two types,from the level of scientific research and technological innovation,education level,consumption power elements,open markets,and the introduction of four aspects,the research of various drivers on the mechanism of action of the equipment manufacturing industry global value chain upgrade.The results show that research and development expenditure,patent application,higher education population,per capita GDP and intellectual property use have a significant role in promoting the GVC status of the equipment manufacturing industry.The effect of total import volume on GVC position of equipment manufacturing industry depends on the influence of the trade structure and the degree of intellectual property protection of each country,which has a significant positive effect on China.Foreign direct investment no longer plays a significant role in the promotion of GVC of equipment manufacturing industry,and its impact on China's economy will vary with the change of economic development stage.Based on the above theoretical and empirical research,and considering government policies,factor supply and upgrading trend,this paper proposes the upgrading path and policy Suggestions in line with the development of China's equipment manufacturing industry in the future division of labor. |
