Study On The Differences Of County Economy In Guangdong Province And Its Influencing Factors

The unbalanced regional economic situation in Guangdong Province has always been a major short-board problem affecting Guangdong's economic development.Among them,the most “unbalanced” development and the most “outstanding” performance are counties in Guangdong Province.In addition,with the development of the new economic geography theory,it is recognized that the development of the economy within the region is not only a single individual development,but also affected by the economic development of the adjacent regions,and this spatial role cannot be ignored.Therefore,it is of great significance to seek to improve the regional economic imbalance by studying the regional economic differences under the system of regional research units.In the same way,in order to solve the problem of regional uncoordination in Guangdong Province and break the regional development and development of Guangdong Province,the “deep water zone”—the county economy,this paper analyzes the theme of Guangdong's county economic differences from different perspectives of space,trying to discover the optimal path for economic development of Guangdong county.For this reason,this paper mainly studies three related issues: 1.The specific performance of the heterogeneity of the county economy in Guangdong Province;2.The distribution of the spatial agglomeration of the county economy in Guangdong Province;3.The spatial empirical study of the factors affecting the economic difference of the county in Guangdong Province.Based on the theory of new economic geography and spatial econometrics,this paper selects 78 county-level cities in Guangdong Province.Firstly,the indicators and calculation methods used to measure the heterogeneity of the county economy are described in detail.Then,by measuring the standard deviation,the coefficient of variation,and the decomposition of the Gini coefficient and the decomposition of the Theil coefficient,the economic situation of the county in Guangdong Province in 2005-2017 is comprehensive.Computational analysis,the study found that in 2005-2017,the absolute gap in the county economy in Guangdong Province showed an increasing trend,and the relative gap was generally narrowed;the total regional differences were larger and larger,and the differences were mainly due to intra-regional differences;the total Gini coefficient was The downward trend is mainly concentrated.Secondly,the spatial agglomeration analysis of the county economy in Guangdong Province,the global Moran's I index and the Lisa map are obtained through exploratory spatial data analysis.The results show that the spatial autocorrelation of the per capita GDP of the county economy in Guangdong Province from 2005 to 2015 is significant.The spatial structure of the county economy in Guangdong Province is dominated by “central-periphery”,and the central and peripheral agglomeration continues to increase over time.Then,using the geographically weighted regression model to carry out spatial empirical research on the influencing factors of county economic differences in Guangdong Province,it is concluded that the geographical weighted model has higher fitness than the traditional model and the spatial variation of the coefficient estimates of different influencing factors.Finally,based on the different coefficient estimates of each region,the corresponding policy recommendations were made to the Pearl River Delta and the eastern and western regions of Guangdong according to local conditions.
