Research On The Impact Of Environmental Regulation And Intellectual Property Protection On Industrial Structure Upgrading

Since the reform and opening up,China's economic development has achieved a quantitative leap from quantitative to qualitative,but the extensive economic development mode has led to the deterioration of the ecological environment,the imbalance of industrial structure,and the task of upgrading industrial structure is imminent.Under the background that China's economic and social development is constrained by environmental pollution and other factors,the role of technological innovation in economic development has become increasingly prominent,and it has become a new driving force for the sustainable development of the industry,and the emergence of intellectual property protection system provides institutional guarantee for technological innovation activities.As China's economic development enters the "new normal",the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure has a positive effect on the transformation of economic development mode and the construction of ecological civilization.In recent years,whether China's industrial structure upgrading process is accelerating is related to environmental regulation and intellectual property protection,and has become the focus of extensive attention in the theoretical circle.This paper believes that environmental regulation and intellectual property protection can have an impact on the industrial structure upgrading process,and the impact of environmental regulation on industrial structure upgrading will be indirectly affected by intellectual property protection.It is hoped that the analysis of the relations among the three factors can give some enlightenment to the process and direction of promoting the upgrading of industrial structure.Therefore,this paper is based on the background of ecological civilization construction and innovation-driven development in China,on the basis of reviewing the research on the relationship between environmental regulation,intellectual property protection and industrial structure upgrading,this paper analyzes the relationship between China's environmental regulation,intellectual property protection and industrial structure upgrading.It strives to seek the internal mutually beneficial mechanism between environmental regulation,intellectual property protection and industrial structure upgrading,and further studies the mechanism of environmental regulation and intellectual property protection on industrial structure upgrading,and the panel data of each province in China are taken as samples for testing.The main research contents include: firstly,based on the research background and significance of this paper,the existing studies at home and abroad are sorted out,and on this basis,the overall research framework and methods of this paper are proposed;chapter three analyzes the effect mechanism of environmental regulation and intellectual property protection on industrial structure upgrading.This paper first discusses the mechanism of environmental regulation on industrial structure upgrading,then analyzes the mechanism of intellectual property protection on industrial structure upgrading,and finally analyzes the mechanism of synergistic effect of the two on industrial structure upgrading,and puts forward relevant research hypotheses.In chapter four,the panel regression model is used to further analyze the relevant variables at the provincial level to test the above research hypotheses,and the following conclusions are drawn: environmental regulation and intellectual property protection have a positive effect on the upgrading of industrial structure;the driving force for the improvement of the industrial structure level to the upgrading of the industrial structure is greater than the driving force generated by the increase in the protection of intellectual property rights;the synergy between environmental regulation and intellectual property protection has a positive effect on the upgrading of industrial structure.According to the research conclusions,this paper proposes policy recommendations to promote the process of industrial structure upgrading from the perspectives of improving the effectiveness of environmental regulation,coordinating the relationship between intellectual property protection and industrial policy,and strengthening technological innovation.
