Innovation is an important management activity for enterprises to adapt to environmental changes,improve their ability of sustainable development and achieve higher value.With the service economy being paid more and more attention by the market,the service innovation corresponding to the technological innovation has also begun to be concerned by the academic community.E-commerce enterprises,as a knowledge-based service industry with large industrial relevance and extensive business fields,is bound to cooperate with the enterprises with complementary characteristics in the supply chain,and thus form a certain relationship with other enterprises in the social network.So how will external collaboration and relationship embedding affect the service innovation performance of e-commerce enterprises?In nowadays' innovation practice,many scholars realize that the premise assumption of "unlimited supply of organizational resources" conflicts with the resource limitation of a single enterprise,and external collaboration can solve this bottleneck by sharing and integrating heterogeneous resources of all parties.In addition,previous studies on network density and enterprise location in social networks often fall into the vortex of "embeddedness paradox".It is found that the visible structural form is not the only embeddedness problem that affects the effect of cooperation among enterprises.In addition to the structural embeddedness,the invisible relationship embeddedness also complements the role that the system and rules cannot play.In the process of joint participation in service innovation,each partner has cultivated a certain tacit understanding through long-term communication,and the mutual trust and emotional intensity have been accumulating,which makes the depth of cooperation go beyond the original simple contract content.In case of unexpected changes in the market agreement,all parties can boldly rely on each other and quickly reach an agreement,and respond flexibly risks and opportunities,the result of innovation activities will be more guaranteed.Based on this,this paperstudies the relationship among external collaboration,relationship embedding and service innovation performance.For this reason,this paper summarizes a large number of domestic and foreign literature,and finds that there are still some achievements on one aspect or two relationships,but the research results on the common influence relationship among the three are few,and most of them are qualitative research,few of them are empirical analysis.Therefore,this paper not only enriches the relevant theories of the three relations,but also supplements the corresponding quantitative research.The main work of this paper is as follows: First of all,sort out the previous research results,untangling the logical relationship among them,and put forward the corresponding hypothesis of the influence between the three aspects;Secondly,due to the wide coverage of external collaboration and relationship embeddedness,there is no completely unified standard for the division of relevant dimensions.Therefore,based on a large number of theoretical analysis,this paper makes a reasonable division of the dimensions of the paper,and sets the measurement items of each potential variable by referring to the mature scales published at home and abroad.The original scale was tested by pre survey,the reliability and validity of small sample data were analyzed,and exploratory factor analysis was carried out with the help of principal component analysis,then the scale was modified according to the results of data analysis,and a formal questionnaire was set up;Finally,Taking Hangzhou e-commerce Industrial Park,the largest e-commerce Industrial Demonstration Park in China,as the object,the potential variables were measured by questionnaire method to obtain formal sample data,and the data were analyzed by SPSS25.0 and AMOS24.0 tools,such as differential validity and correlation analysis,second-order confirmatory factor analysis,to test the fitting effect of each measurement model.And then the structural equation model of external collaboration,relationship embedding and service innovation performance is established to test the main effect and intermediary effect of relationship embedding.At last,this paper verifies that external collaboration and relationship embeddingplay a significant positive role in promoting service innovation performance in e-commerce enterprises.Moreover,external collaboration also has a positive impact on relationship embedding.The higher the level of external collaboration among enterprises,the stronger the degree of relationship embedding.In addition,relationship embeddedness also plays an intermediary role between external collaboration and service innovation performance.According to the above conclusion,this paper gives some enlightenment on how to enhance the service innovation level by strengthening cooperation with other enterprises and improving the relationship with partners,which provides some practical reference for the innovation management activities of related enterprises.
