Research On The Competitiveness Of China's High-tech Industry Under The Background Of Sion-US Trade War

In 2018,the United States launched a "301" survey on China,launching multiple rounds of trade war against China on the grounds that China unfair competition brought about by the strategic subsidy policy for high-tech products violated the interests of US companies,and at the same time it initiated sanctions on ZTE,all these actions brought harm to Chinese exports and the development of enterprises.Under the new situation of international division of labor,China's high-tech industry is facing enormous opportunities and challenges.It is particularly important to study the competitiveness of China's high-tech industry.Through literature analysis,this paper combs the relevant theories of competitiveness,and summarizes the impact of China's rise on the United States and the reasons why the United States launched a trade war.On this basis,the domestic and external environment of China's high-tech industry development is analysed,which includes China's strategic support for hightech industry,American domestic problems and its recognition of China's high-tech industry development.Then,based on the ten years‘ data from the financial crisis in 2008 to present,the bilateral trade growth of high-tech products between the two countries is analyzed using CMS model.In the part of competitiveness evaluation of China's high-tech industry,through the index analysis method,12 indexes affecting the competitiveness of China's high-tech industries are defined.Then the competitiveness of China high-tech industry is analyzed by using PCADEA analysis method.Four first-level indicators,namely industrial scale,industrial benefit,industrial innovation ability and policy support ability,are quantified by multi-level indicators.They are added to DEA analysis as input.Combined with corresponding output value indicators,the overall evaluation of the competitiveness of the high-tech industry of the country and provinces is obtained.It was found that the factors affecting the competitiveness of China hightech industry are policy promotion and R&D investment,the competitiveness of high-tech industries in different provinces is different,and there are great differences in different regions.Finally,according to the results of empirical analysis,policy suggestions to enhance the competitiveness of China's high-tech industry are put forward.
