The electronics industry is a knowledge-based and labor-intensive industry, especially in an information society, which is the core Asahi industry that promotes economic growth. The electronics industry includes such electronic products as telephones, and the electronics industry is one of the most representative products in its field.Compared with other industries, the electronics industry has a short life cycle, but it has a high level of concentration of brain technology, high added value and high investment efficiency. As an industry with less resources and less energy consumption,it can also be said to be an integrated industry of energy point monitoring belt. The world electronics industry market has changed a lot over the past 30 years.First, from a technical standpoint, since 1990,digital technology has rapidly become the driving force behind the growth of IT or electrical and electronic industries, with new forms of products and services having a lot of impact on consumer demand. From the stage of industrial development in Korea,China and Japan,Japan is the most developed country in the three countries.Second,Korea also has an important position in the world's electronics industry through its post-industrial incubation policy. But China is relatively a latecomer. In recent years,China has also seen significant technological growth through substantial investment in R&D and technology imitation strategies.Although the three countries have complementary sides, competition is getting fierce. In this study, the international competitiveness of Korea,China and Japan's electronics industries was compared based on the trade characteristics index, relative trade advantage index, and market comparative advantage index. The next major aim is to find out which species of Korea,China, and Japan are superior or inferior. The results of the analysis are summarized as follows. In terms of TSI,China is the most competitive in finished products(computers and telephones),while Japan is weakest, and in terms of electronic parts and semiconductor products,Japan is competitive in electronic parts and South Korea is strong in semiconductor products. And China is weaker than Korea and Japan in both electronic components and semiconductors.China is still competitive in the finished products based on the RTA index, while Japan is still competitive in the final products.is less competitive.Among electronic components, they are competitive in order of Japan,Korea and China.Korea,Japan and China are competitive in order of semiconductors. Thus,Korea and Japan are in a similar situation among non-finished products, and China is judged to be vulnerable.According to the MCA index, computers and phone lines are competitive in order of China,Korea and Japan. In the field of electronic parts,China occupies an important position.Japan has the advantage, but Korea is in a weak position. In terms of semiconductors,Korea is strong competitive,Japan is middle and China is weak,as opposed to electronic components.Overall,China is the most competitive in the finished products, and Japan is not.In terms of non-finished products,Japan is relatively competitive, while China and South Korea are similar.Based on the above analysis results, this paper makes suggestions on the problems in the electronics industry of Korea,China and Japan and the countermeasures in the future.
