After years of development,tourism industry in Sichuan province has become the pillar industry and plays an important role in promoting the economic development of Sichuan province.As one of the three major tourism markets in Sichuan Province,Sichuan inbound tourism market is the key development object of Sichuan Province in recent years.It not only has an important impact on the foreign exchange income of Sichuan Province,but also can promote the development of other industries related to tourism,such as commerce,catering industry,transportation industry,arts and crafts industry,garden and landscape industry,and promote the development of other industries Relevant departments continue to improve infrastructure,increase service projects and improve service quality.This paper makes a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the current situation,characteristics and consumption characteristics of inbound tourism market in Sichuan Province,and uses the gray correlation model to analyze the controllable factors that affect the inbound tourism market in Sichuan Province,In order to clarify the segmentation and positioning of the inbound tourism market in Sichuan Province,explore the influencing factors of the tourist market,find out the changing trend and existing problems of the tourism market in Sichuan Province,and finally provide the decision basis for optimizing the tourism industry structure,improving the quality of tourism services and expanding the inbound tourism market.The results show that:First,Sichuan Province is rich in natural and cultural tourism resources,and in transportation,accommodation and travel agencies have certain basic supporting conditions.The development of inbound tourism in Sichuan Province can be divided into three stages:embryonic stage,formative stage and rapid development stage.However,the inbound tourism of Sichuan Province is only in a middle position in the whole country,which does not match the abundant tourism resources of Sichuan province;Second,Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and Asia are divided into major inbound markets,Europe and North America are divided into emerging inbound markets,Oceania,South America,Africa and other countries or regions are divided into potential inbound markets.However,Sichuan Province is currently adopting a unified inbound tourism management approach,which should adopt targeted Expansion Strategies for different types of inbound markets;Thirdly,the time characteristics of the inbound tourism source market in Sichuan Province are obviously seasonal.The inbound tourism time is concentrated in the periods of april-may,July-october and important holidays,while the inter-annual concentration index is smaller,the distribution of inbound tourist arrivals is stable with time.On the other hand,the spatial distribution of inbound tourists is concentrated and dispersed in single center,and the spatial intensity is concentrated and monopolized The concentration of inbound tourists in the source country is relatively good,and the source market is slightly concentrated,but there is a problem that some tourists from the source country have a low preference for tourist attractions in Sichuan Province,so the spatial distribution is optimized,enhancing the uniqueness of tourism resources and improving the service quality of scenic spots are the important methods to reduce the peak-season tourist clustering and regional tourism development differentiation;Fourth,the consumption level of inbound tourists is generally lower than the national average level and the consumption of non basic tourism is less.The main consumption subjects of inbound tourists in Sichuan Province are divided into women,teenagers,middle-aged and old people,soldiers,students and retirees according to gender,age and professional characteristics.It is important to develop products to meet their own needs for different consumer groups to promote non basic tourism consumption Means;Fifthly,the factors that have a great influence on the inbound tourism market of Sichuan Province are tourism transportation,travel agencies and star hotels in turn.Therefore,strengthening the infrastructure supporting construction is a powerful measure to promote the development of Sichuan's inbound tourism industry.Therefore,Sichuan Province should establish a brand image,innovate the publicity channels and contents,subdivide the source market,expand the market share of inbound market,optimize the overall layout,reduce the regional differences of tourism,improve the service quality,promote the consumption of inbound tourists,improve the infrastructure,improve the ability of tourism reception,strengthen the supervision and management,and standardize the order of tourism market.In this way,the service quality of tourism market in Sichuan Province can be better improved,the number of inbound tourists can be increased,the consumption level of tourists can be improved,and the inbound tourism market in Sichuan Province can be developed faster and better.
