An Empirical Study On The Influence Of Technological Innovation On The Upgrading Of Industrial Structure In Yangtze River Delta

At present,China's economy has begun to shift from high-speed development to high-quality development stage,and the mode of economic growth urgently needs to upgrade from factor driven to innovation-driven.One of the necessary conditions for innovation-driven development is to further increase the intensity of technological innovation,which is of great significance for China's economic growth mode from factor driven to comprehensive innovation-driven,and also for China's important economic growth region,the Yangtze river delta,whose healthy development affects the healthy development of China's entire economy and society.As the important support of economic development,industrial structure is of great importance to China's economic development.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the impact of technological innovation on the upgrading of industrial structure in the Yangtze river delta.This paper aims to study the impact of technology innovation on industrial structure upgrading in the Yangtze river delta.The first chapter,on the basis of previous studies,distinguishes the specific connotation and measurement methods of technological innovation,industrial structure and industrial structure upgrading,and briefly introduces the theoretical basis of technological innovation and industrial structure related to the research content of this paper.On the theoretical basis of the first chapter,the second chapter discusses the mechanism of technological innovation promoting the upgrading of industrial structure from the three aspects of industrial technology level,demand structure and factor supply conditions,and theoretically demonstrates how technological innovation promotes the upgrading of regional industrial structure,thus providing a theoretical basis for the following empirical research.Chapter three firstly elaborates the scope,development strategy and development status of the Yangtze river delta,and then quantitatively analyzes the status quo of technological innovation and industrial structure of the Yangtze river delta with specific data.Chapter four selects data from 41 cities in the Yangtze river delta from 2007 to 2017 for empirical analysis of the impact of technological innovation on industrial structure upgrading.In the empirical part,the dynamic panel GMM model is used to study the influence of independent innovation,technology introduction and imitation innovation on the rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure.Finally,in the conclusion part,based on the previous research andanalysis results,the main conclusions are drawn.Combined with China's national conditions,the paper puts forward some policy Suggestions to improve the level of technological innovation and promote the upgrading of industrial structure in the Yangtze river delta.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows :(1)the regional GDP and per capita GDP of the provinces and cities in the Yangtze river delta are basically increasing year by year,but there is still a certain gap in the level of economic development.(2)from 2007 to 2017,the level of independent innovation in the Yangtze river delta increased,while the level of technology introduction decreased year by year.The level of imitation innovation generally increased first and then decreased.Meanwhile,the technology import level of the Yangtze river delta has always been above the national average.(3)the level of industrial structure in the Yangtze river delta has been constantly upgraded in recent years,but both the rationalization level of industrial structure and the high-level level of industrial structure still need further optimization and upgrading.(4)different technological innovation paths in the Yangtze river delta have different impacts on industrial structure upgrading.The innovation mode of independent innovation promotes the rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure.The innovation methods of technology introduction are not conducive to the upgrading of industrial structure and the rationalization of industrial structure.Finally,imitative innovation can promote the rationalization of industrial structure and the upgrading of industrial structure.(5)from the perspective of control variables,the increase of openness to the outside world can promote the rationalization of industrial structure and the upgrading of industrial structure at the same time;Fixed assets investment is conducive to the rationalization of industrial structure,but not conducive to the upgrading of industrial structure;Contrary to fixed assets investment,the degree of government involvement in economy is negatively correlated with the rationalization of industrial structure and positively correlated with the upgrading of industrial structure.Finally,based on the research conclusions,this paper puts forward relevant policy Suggestions.(1)strive to improve the level of technological innovation in the Yangtze river delta from the perspectives of input,output,environment and diffusion of technological innovation.(2)select appropriate technological innovation path to promote the upgrading of industrial structure.(3)efforts should be made to promote the synchronous and coordinated development of the rationalization of industrial structure and the upgrading of industrial structure.(4)Strengthening regional cooperation,givingplay to the leading role of cities and promoting balanced development of the Yangtze river delta.(5)improve the technical content of imported trade products,optimize the export structure,optimize the investment environment and improve the quality of investment.
