Study On Psychological Inducing Mechanism And Simulation Of Urban Residents' Catering Waste Behavior

With the remarkable improvement of human material conditions and living standards,ecological problems such as resource shortage and environmental pollution are becoming increasingly prominent.In this context,scholars have done a lot of meaningful research on energy conservation,emission reduction and low-carbon consumption,but they have neglected the high-carbon consumption that has been existing in daily life.These high-carbon consumption behaviors have caused huge hidden dangers to the ecological environment and personal health.Among them,the catering waste behavior is a typical representative of residents' high-carbon consumption behaviors.In recent years,in order to solve the increasingly serious problem of food waste,although our country has carried out several actions to "promote frugality and combat waste",China has not yet established a long-term mechanism to prevent food waste.Therefore,the study of the psychological inducing mechanism of urban residents' catering waste behavior will provide a theoretical basis for how to avoid the residents' catering waste,and promote the construction of frugal catering consumption culture in China.This article takes urban residents' catering waste behavior as the research object,and based on the theory of planned behavior,attitude-context-behavior theory and precede-reoceed theory,constructs the theoretical model of psychological inducement of urban residents' catering waste behavior.Then we collected data through a largescale questionnaire survey,and used structural equation model to conduct an empirical test of the psychological incentives of residents' catering waste behavior,and expounded the internal psychological driving mechanism of residents' catering waste behavior.We further used Agent-based computer simulation modeling technology to construct a simulation model of the mechanism for inducing food waste behavior of urban residents,and analyzed the effects of extravagant and wasteful atmosphere of different strengths.Finally,based on the empirical and simulation results,we proposed countermeasures and suggestions from three levels: the government,catering companies,and consumers.The research content of this article is mainly divided into three aspects:First,the construction and empirical test of psychological inducement model of urban residents' catering waste behavior.Based on literature research,four types of factors affecting residents' catering waste behavior were selected: individual psychological factors,group psychological factors,situational factors,and sociodemographic factors,and a theoretical model of psychological incentives for residents' catering waste behavior was constructed.Then we conducted empirical test on the theoretical model,and the results showed that:(1)Attitude,subjective norms,health risk perception,status-displayed face awareness and others-oriented face awareness can indirectly affect food waste behavior by reducing the mediating variable of food waste behavior willingness;(2)Conformity psychology,status-displayed face awareness and others-oriented face awareness have a direct and significant impact on catering waste behavior;(3)The extravagant and wasteful atmosphere of contextual factors has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between the willingness to reduce food waste behavior,the status-oriented face consciousness,the otheroriented face consciousness and the catering waste behavior;(4)Residents' catering waste behaviors have significant differences in age,personal monthly income,household disposable income,and whether they need to repay the housing loan.Second,the simulation study on the mechanism of urban residents' catering waste behavior.Based on the empirical test results,based on Agent's simulation modeling technology,we constructed a simulation conceptual model of urban residents' catering waste behavior induction mechanism.Then,the Matlab software was used to fit the BP neural network model of the residents' catering waste behavior selection,and the attributes and behavior rules of the residents Agent in the simulation system were designed.Finally,the Netlogo simulation platform was used to study the mechanism of different intensities of extravagant waste on residents' catering waste behavior.the result shows: In the situation where luxury was the weakest,59.6% of residents would choose to save food,and the phenomenon of catering waste was not serious.However,when the extravagant and wasteful atmosphere was changed from the weakest to the strongest,the number of residents wasting food in the simulation system increased by 75.7%,and the number of residents wasting food increased significantly.Therefore,the prevalence of luxury and waste is not conducive to the construction of frugal catering consumption culture.Finally,combined with the conclusions of the empirical and simulation research in this paper,we put forward targeted suggestions to reduce residents' wasting waste behavior from three perspectives: government,catering enterprises and consumers.
