In recent years,the ever-increasing market competition and the continuous adjustment of the organizational structure have put forward higher requirements on organizational innovation and working methods.On the one hand,the importance of innovation has become increasingly prominent,and it has become the key for organizations to maintain competitiveness in competition and achieve sustainable development.On the other hand,the advantages of the team have been further demonstrated,and the work style of the team as the basic work unit has been generally recognized and respected.Virtual teams of technology intermediaries have begun to emerge.Combining innovation with teams,team creativity has received widespread attention from companies and scholars.How to effectively improve team creativity has become a hot issue.Leadership is the hub of a team,making it an important part of team creativity research.In the study of the relationship between leadership and team creativity,compared to traditional face-to-face leadership,e-leadership that plays a leading role through information technology platforms has been ignored.The application of technology and changes in working methods such as telecommuting at home make it more and more common and necessary.As a new type of leadership in the information age,the research on e-leadership is becoming more and more urgent.Considering the degree of virtuality of the team,linking e-leadership and team creativity,e-leadership can use its unique advantages to promote the interconnection and sharing of team members,promote the embeddedness and identity of team members,and provide team creativity good conditions.Based on social identity theory and social information processing theory,and combined with relevant literature analysis,this study builds a model of the relationship among e-leadership,team identification,team virtuality,and team creativity,and proposes relevant assumptions.Taking 68 teams from 42 companies in Xinjiang,Guangdong,Henan,Shanghai,Shandong and other regions as the research object,SPSS 22.0 was used to conduct independent sample T-test and one-way analysis of variance on the data to examine the differences between the enterprise-level and team-level control variables of the variables.Correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to test the relationship among e-leadership,team identification,team virtuality and team creativity.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)There are no significant differences in team identification between teams from different natures,scales,industries,and development stages;Except that teams from different types of teams have significant differences in team identification,teams of different natures and sizes have no significant differences in team identification.In addition to the significant differences in team virtuality from teams of different sizes,there is no significant difference in team virtuality from other companies and team categories and in e-leadership and team creativity derived from different companies and teams.(2)E-leadership has a significant positive impact on team creativity.(3)E-leadership has a significant positive impact on team identification.(4)Team identification has a significant positive impact on team creativity.(5)The Team identification plays a full mediating role between e-leadership and team creativity.(6)Team virtuality cannot moderate the relationship between e-leadership and team creativity.This study theoretically enriches the leadership perspective of team creativity research,expands the research scope of e-leadership,and validates the mechanism and boundary conditions of the relationship between e-leadership and team creativity.In practice,it provides theoretical basis and new ideas for companies to increase e-leadership and improve the creativity of teams.The main innovations of this study are as follows: first,based on the team perspective,it explores the effectiveness of e-leadership at the corporate team level on the team's results by using ordinary teams as the research objects which were considered the nature of virtuality;Affirming,it more clearly illustrates the path of influence of e-leadership on team creativity.
