With the advent of the new economic era,profound changes have taken place in the global innovation landscape.New technologies and new industries have increasingly demanded regional scientific research capabilities.As an important core area of China's economy,the Yangtze River Delta region shoulders the major strategic mission of building a world-class science and technology innovation center.Grasping the characteristics of regional innovation cooperation and exploring the evolution rules of regional innovation networks are of great practical significance for accelerating regional integration and building a strategic highland for foreign science and technology competition and cooperation.In the academic field,the "innovation network" research started in the 1980 s.After more than 30 years of theoretical development and empirical accumulation,network analysis has become an important cornerstone for exploring the basic form and general law of innovation in a certain space.Collaborative innovation,on the one hand,is the main result of the development of the network,and on the other hand,is an important guarantee for the further improvement of the network.This article will deeply explore the basic form and evolution law of the Yangtze River Delta regional innovation network by comprehensively using the graph theory method and optimization method in the social network analysis method(SNA);Sort out and summarize the specific connotation of the collaborative innovation development within the urban agglomeration,based on the random index diagram model(ERGM)to judge and refine the effective factors that can promote the forward evolution of regional innovation networks.Through in-depth and detailed research and summary,on the one hand,I hope to provide some reasonable and effective starting points and directions for promoting the integration of the Yangtze River Delta to achieve highlevel and high-quality development in the region;on the other hand,I also hope to provide some theoretical development for regional innovation networks useful inspiration and ideas.The main findings of this article during the research are summarized as follows:First of all,based on the analysis of the knowledge cooperation network and the patent cooperation network in Chapters 3 and 4,the research confirms that the development of the network in the technology field is indeed lagging behind the knowledge field,but their regional integration trend is relatively stable.Secondly,using the block model analysis,this paper finds that the patent cooperation network presents the characteristics of "single-center integration",while the knowledge cooperation network presents the characteristics of "dual-center integration".These two characteristics determine the similarities and differences in the network evolution process based on the endogenous nature of the network structure,such as "radical","gatekeeper effect",and "small world".Finally,based on the empirical analysis results of the Knowledge Cooperative Network,the Patent Cooperative Network Random Index Graph Model(ERGM),and the summary of the network analysis of typical enterprises in Chapter 5,this article believes that three points can promote the development of regional innovation networks.They are a continuous and effective investment in basic scientific research,innovation-driven coordinated development of small and medium-sized towns,and further enhancement of the innovation strength of regional core cities(Shanghai,Nanjing,Hangzhou,Hefei).They are also of great significance for promoting regional integration.
