Research On The Influence Of Innovation Network And Innovation Environment On The Innovation Output Of Gazelle Enterprises

Innovation is the fulcrum of high-quality development and the key for small-medium enterprises to maintain their core competitiveness.With the acceleration of technological change and the enhancement of technological complexity and uncertainty,a single enterprise is confronted with more challenges of technological innovation.With the background of open innovation,it is very important for an enterprise to rely on external innovation resources to improve its own innovation capability.On the one hand,the innovation environment can provide enterprises with various key resources(such as talents,infrastructure,preferential policies,etc.)needed for innovation,making it easier to realize innovation.On the other hand,it is a common innovation mode for enterprises to acquire heterogeneous knowledge by constructing innovation cooperation networks with universities and research institutions.Innovation environment and innovation network have been two ways for enterprises to obtain external innovation resources and improve their technological innovation ability.As outstanding enterprises in Sunan National Innovation Park,gazelle enterprises in Sunan National Innovation Park are characterized by high technology,strong innovation ability and fast growth,whose innovation development relay on the function of innovation network and innovation environment.Exploring the influence of innovation network and innovation environment on innovation output of gazelle enterprises in Sunan National Innovation Park plays an important role in promoting innovation ability of gazelle enterprises.In view of this,this paper takes 183 gazelle enterprises who were identified in2017 in Sunan National Innovation Park as research objects.Firstly,the paper analyses the development status of gazelle enterprises from five aspects: industrial distribution type,spatial distribution difference,economic development status,innovative development status and current situation of cultivation.Based on the data of the collaborative application for patents by the Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform in 183 gazelle enterprises from 2004 to 2018,the innovation network in gazelle enterprises is constructed.By using social network analysis method and the geographical spatial analysis method,characteristics of innovation network(network relationship,topological structure and spatial structure)is analyzed.Besides that,by using ordinary least squares method,influence of innovation network on innovationoutput of enterprises is explored.Thirdly,based on the analysis of the current situation of innovation environment construction in the Sunan National Innovation Park,the paper uses the least square method to explore the influence of innovation environment on innovation output of gazelle enterprises.The results show that:(1)The industry categories of gazelle enterprises in Sunan National Innovation Park are mainly concentrated in the manufacturing industry,and 57.14% of them are distributed in the high-tech industry.On the whole,the spatial distribution of gazelle enterprises is the agglomeration mode,but there are some differences in different cities.The spatial distribution of gazelle enterprises in Suzhou,Wuxi and Changzhou shows a significant agglomeration pattern,while the spatial distribution of gazelle enterprises in Nanjing and Zhenjiang shows a dispersion pattern.There is a certain gap between the economic development level of gazelle enterprises in Sunan National Innovation Park and national high-tech zone.Compared with the average level of enterprises in Sunan National Innovation Park,gazelle enterprises have the characteristics of fast economic growth and strong innovation ability,which set a good example for enterprises in Sunan National Innovation Park.The efficiency of gazelle enterprise cultivation are different in different cities,and the efficiency of gazelle enterprise cultivation in Suzhou Wuxi and Changzhou are better than that in Nanjing and Zhenjiang.(2)From the perspective of network relationship,the innovation network of gazelle enterprises is mainly composed of the scattered parallel structure and the star type dominant structure,while the synergetic composite structure is less.With the development of the network,the innovation cooperation between gazelle enterprises and other innovation subjects is mainly changed from single relation-driven type to hybrid relation-driven type.From the perspective of network topology structure,the enterprise innovation network is in the stage of rapid development,and is in the evolutionary process of agglomeration.The core-edge structure is prominent,forming a cluster sub-network with Suzhou Nuclear Research Institute engineering research institute.From the perspective of spatial structure,provincial cooperation and intra-city cooperation are the main spatial scales of gazelle enterprise innovation cooperation,and the cooperation objects of the provincial cooperation are mainly located in Shenzhen,Shanghai,Beijing,Guangzhou,Xi'an,Yinchuan.The cross-provincial innovation cooperation with high connection intensity is mostly realized on the basis of equity connection.(3)From the perspective of the innovation network factors that influence the innovation output of gazelle enterprises,it can be seen that the industry-university-research connection intensity,degree centrality,structure hole,the connection intensity of the same city and same country all have positive effects on the innovation output of enterprises.Gazelle enterprises in strategic emerging industries such as biomedicine,new energy vehicles,high-end equipment manufacturing,energy conservation and environmental protection,and new materials have closer inter-regional industry-university-research cooperation with domestic universities and research institutions.(4)From the perspective of the innovation environment factors that affect the innovation output of gazelle enterprises,on the whole the technology research and development environment,infrastructure environment and economic environment have a positive impact on the innovation output of gazelle enterprises,while the policy environment has a negative impact on the innovation output of gazelle enterprises.From the perspective of industry,the technology research and development environment and the policy environment have an important role in promoting the innovation output of gazelle enterprises in the high-tech industry,which are more prominent in the biotechnology and new material gazelle enterprises.But the economic environment has an important role in promoting the innovation output of gazelle enterprises in the non-high-tech industry.
