| Study compared the performance and durability properties of imported and domestic manufactured men's 100% worsted wool suits having similar fiber content, color, size, and styles produced in China, Italy, and the United States following repeated dry-cleanings. Specific textile tests of fabric count, dimensional stability, seam appearance, thickness, fabric weight, pilling, abrasion resistance, colorfastness, stiffness, and breaking strength were analyzed as a split plot analysis of variance initially and after 5 and 25 dry-cleanings. Results indicate that, overall, the suit produced in China performed the best in all textile tests. |
