Green building guidelines: Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County (California)

This project report is intended to provide Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County with Green Building Guidelines that will be utilized as a project-planning tool. The results of using these guidelines will provide homes to Habitat families that will be healthy to live in, energy efficient and constructed with quality.; These Green Building Guidelines were developed to be project specific for conditions in Ventura County. However they were designed so that they can be readily adapted by other Habitat affiliates to meet their specific geographic needs. The Green Building Guidelines will be published on the Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County's website, which will facilitate retrieval by global users and allow for the ease of revision and utilization. The guidelines are specifically not copyrighted so that they can be used, modified or amended to meet the needs of all users.; Appendix A of this project addresses the Green Building Guidelines.
